Article Synopsis
  • Global warming and human activities have caused regional climate instability, leading to more frequent high-temperature events that threaten eco-environmental protection and socio-economic development.
  • Analysis of monthly maximum temperatures from 1950 to 2019 revealed a significant upward trend in seasonal average maximum temperatures (AMT) across all seasons, particularly concentrated in the 1990s to early 2000s.
  • The study found varying spatial distribution trends, with AMT increasing from south to north in spring, autumn, and winter; it also identified complex correlations between AMT and atmospheric circulation factors, with significant interactions involving the Pacific, North Atlantic, and Arctic Oscillations.

Dead end 1 (DND1), important for maintaining the viability of primordial germ cells, is the first protein containing an RNA recognition motif that has been directly implicated as a heritable cause of spontaneous tumorigenesis. In the present study, c-Jun was identified through yeast two-hybrid screening of a 10.5-day old mouse embryo cDNA library as one of the proteins which interact with DND1-β.
