Purpose: This study evaluated interlesion heterogeneity in prostate cancer using dual-tracer imaging (PSMA and FDG) and explored its predictive value for novel hormone therapy (NHT).
Patients And Methods: A total of 205 prostate cancer patients (23 biochemical recurrences, 68 metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancers, 114 metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancers [mCRPC]) who underwent dual 18F-FDG and 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT imaging were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 62 mCRPC patients received NHT.
Objectives: To elucidate the relationship between the auricular point stimulation and the activity of glutamatergic neurons in the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) from the perspective of intrinsic excitability plasticity of neurons in mice with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), so as to explore the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture at auricular points in improving emotional diseases induced by PTSD.
Methods: C57BL/6J male mice were randomly divided into control, PTSD model, sham electroacupuncture (EA), and EA groups, with 5 mice in each group. The glutamatergic neurons were labelled by injection of AAV2/9-CaMKⅡα-EGFP viral fluid into the bilateral ACC.

Purpose: To establish an explainable F-FDG PET/CT-derived prediction model to identify EGFR mutation status and subtypes (EGFR wild, EGFR-E19, and EGFR-E21) in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD).
Methods: Baseline F-FDG PET/CT images of 478 patients with LUAD from 2 hospitals were collected. Data from hospital A (n = 390) was randomly split into a training group (n = 312) and an internal test group (n = 78), with data from hospital B (n = 88) utilized for external test.
Multiphase information fusion and spatiotemporal feature modeling play a crucial role in the task of four-phase CT lesion recognition. In this paper, we propose a four-phase CT lesion recognition algorithm based on multiphase information fusion framework and spatiotemporal prediction module. Specifically, the multiphase information fusion framework uses the interactive perception mechanism to realize the channel-spatial information interactive weighting between multiphase features.

Methods: Male C57BL/6J mice were randomly divided into control and model groups (28 mice/group). The MI-induced visceral pain model was established by intraperitoneal injection of isoprenaline (ISO, 160 mg/kg).
Rationale And Objectives: Evaluating the capability of CT nomograms and CT-based radiomics nomograms to differentiate between Bronchiolar Adenoma (BA) and Early-stage Lung Adenocarcinoma (LUAD).
Materials And Methods: In this retrospective study; we analyzed data from 226 patients who were treated at our institution and pathologically confirmed to have either BA or Early-stage LUAD. Patients were randomly divided into a training cohort (n=158) and a testing cohort (n=68).

Objective: To synthesize a Salphen-based Fe-NO@C material with high peroxidase (POD)-mimicking activity and sonosensitivity for the synergistic sonodynamic (SDT) and chemodynamic (CDT) therapy of tumors.
Methods: Fe-NO was synthesized via the hydrothermal method, and Fe-NO@C was prepared by incorporating a ketjen black substrate. The morphology, structure, composition, enzyme mimic activity for reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, and sonosensitivity of the material were characterized.
Controlling interfacial charge transfer behavior of heterojunction is an arduous issue to efficiently drive separation of photogenerated carriers for improving the photocatalytic activity. Herein, the interface charge transfer behavior is effectively controlled by fabricating an unparalleled V-NiWO/PCN heterojunction that is prepared by encapsulating NiWO nanoparticles rich in surface oxygen vacancies (V-NiWO) in the mesoporous polymeric carbon nitride (PCN) nanosheets. Experimental and theoretical investigations show that, differing with the traditional p-n junction, the direction of built-in electric field between p-type NiWO and n-type PCN is reversed interestingly.

Aims: We investigated the role of OCT in guiding a reperfusion strategy and improving the long-term prognosis of STEMI patients.
Methods: All patients who were diagnosed with STEMI and who underwent pPCI between January 2017 and December 2020 were enrolled and divided into OCT-guided versus angiography-guided cohorts.
Intercellular communication often relies on exosomes as messengers and is critical for cancer metastasis in hypoxic tumor microenvironment. Some circular RNAs (circRNAs) are enriched in cancer cell-derived exosomes, but little is known about their ability to regulate intercellular communication and cancer metastasis. Here, by systematically analyzing exosomes secreted by non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells, a hypoxia-induced exosomal circPLEKHM1 is identified that drives NSCLC metastasis through polarizing macrophages toward to M2 type.

Radiomics models based on F-FDG PET/CT have great potential in identifying EGFR mutation status and EGFR subtypes in patients with LUAD. The validation of multi-center data, model visualization, and interpretation are significantly important for the management, application and trust of machine learning predictive models.

However, its impact on neuronal endoplasmic reticulum stress following repetitive mild traumatic brain injury remains unclear.

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is one of the common diseases in middle-aged and elderly women, caused by weakened pelvic floor muscle ligament tissue support. Pelvic floor reconstruction with mesh implantation has been proven to be an effective treatment for POP. However, traditional non-degradable and inflexible pelvic floor implantation meshes have been associated with pain, vaginal infections, and the need for additional surgeries.

As the main drug resistance marker, ABCG2 is also critical for colorectal cancer (CRC) evolution, in particular cancer stem-like traits expansion. Hitherto, the knowledge about the expression regulation of ABCG2, in particular its upstream transcriptional regulatory mechanisms, remains limited in cancer, including CRC.

Methods: The F-FDG PET/CT imaging and clinical characters of 767 patients with lung adenocarcinoma from 4 cohorts were collected. Seventy-six radiomics candidates using cross-combination method to identity EGFR mutation status and subtypes were built.
Previous studies reported the association between Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), but its infection pattern and clinical significance unclear. This study aimed to comprehensively investigate the infection pattern, clinicopathology, outcomes, and immunology of this entity in central China. We evaluated a total of 104 untreated CSCC tumor tissue specimens using in situ hybridization for EBV-encoded small RNAs (EBERs), and by employing flowcytometry fluorescence hybridization for human papillomavirus (HPV) genotyping.

We show that the compound binds to KRAS near the switch regions with affinities in the low micromolar range and exerts different effects on KRAS interactions with binding partners. Specifically, impedes the interaction of KRAS with its effector Raf and reduces both intrinsic and SOS-mediated nucleotide exchange rates.

Crown-root fracture management is still complicated nowadays. A fracture line extending longitudinally to the subgingival area and intruding bioogical width could affect infection control, gingival health and crown restoration.

Unfortunately, not all neuroendocrine tumors express Sstr2, and Sstr2 expression can be downregulated with prolonged agonist use. Sstr2 is rapidly internalized following agonist stimulation and, in the short term, is quantitatively recycled back to the plasma membrane.
