Purpose: Serum uric acid (SUA) is primarily produced through the hydrolysis of purines in the liver, with its excretion largely handled by the kidneys. Urate transporter 1 (URAT1) inhibitors are known to enhance uric acid elimination via the kidneys, but they also increase the risk of kidney stone formation. Currently, xanthine oxidase (XO) inhibitors are the predominant uric-lowering medications on the market.

However, the development cycle for anticancer drugs is lengthy and the failure rate is high, highlighting the urgent need for new tumor models for CRC-related research. The decellular matrix (dECM) offers numerous cell adhesion sites, proteoglycan and cytokines.

This study aimed to assess the potential mitigation by environmental enrichment on hoarding behavior in rodents caused by maternal separation, thereby providing insights into therapeutic strategies for hoarding disorder.
Methods: Newborn mice were randomly divided into four groups.
Radiotherapy is a common local treatment for breast cancer, and while it is effective in targeting tumor cells, it inevitably causes significant side effects. These include excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), repeated inflammatory, and severe skin ulceration, all of which can hinder the wound healing process. As a result, there is a pressing need for multifunctional medical dressings that can support wound repair following radiotherapy.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 847 patients with locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) treated at the Second Hospital of Jilin University between 2016 and 2020. All patients underwent radical CCRT, including platinum-based sensitizing chemotherapy.
A new C-denudatine-type diterpenoid alkaloid (DA) 11S-aconicarnine D (1) and fifteen known DAs were isolated from the lateral roots of Aconitum brachypodum Diels. Their structures were identified on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses, NMR calculations and DP4+ analysis. Compounds 1 and 4 exhibited antimicrobial activity against Alternaria panax with MICs of 2.

Because methylene blue (MB) and nickel ion (Ni) were common and difficult to treat in wastewater, the adsorption characteristics of MB and Ni, as well as the phase and microstructure of the porous RSG spheres prior to and after adsorption, were thoroughly investigated. The porous RSG spheres showed a stable and mesoporous structure with a BET surface area of 31.

To address these challenges, magnetic composite nanospheres (CMNP@CHPEI) are systematically developed, with carboxylated FeO nanoparticles (CMNP) as the core and amphiphilic hyperbranched polyethyleneimine (CHPEI) as the decorated shell. These novel nanospheres combine the controllable size and magnetic responsiveness of "hard" magnetic nanomaterials with the structural complexity and functional diversity of "soft" hyperbranched polymers.

This study unveiled the discovery of the victorivirus FgVV2 from the strain F16176 and comprehensively characterized the function of the two victoriviruses FaVV1 and FaVV2 in virulence. Through comparative analysis with a virus-free strain, we established that these mycoviruses markedly repress the sexual reproduction and pathogenicity of their fungal hosts.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women and one of the deadliest cancers worldwide. According to the distribution of tumor tissue, breast cancer can be divided into invasive and non-invasive forms. The cancer cells in invasive breast cancer pass through the breast and through the immune system or systemic circulation to different parts of the body, forming metastatic breast cancer.

This paper proposes a full-speed range control algorithm based on the fusion of pulsating high-frequency injection and back electromotive force (EMF) position error information. In the low-speed range or at start-up, a square-wave high-frequency signal is injected, and the obtained high-frequency current signal is processed to obtain the rotor position error information.

Much research on the gut microbiota of wildlife has focused on feces samples, so the microbial composition along the gastrointestinal tract of wildlife is not well reported. To address this gap, we performed high-throughput sequencing of 16s rRNA genes and ITs rRNA genes in the gastrointestinal contents of a wild adult male Chinese muntjac () to comparatively analyze the microbial diversity of different gastrointestinal regions.

The structures of the compounds were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, and ECD and NMR computational. Hypothesis: An innovative strategy for designing high-performance demulsifiers is proposed. It hypothesizes that integrating mesoscopic molecular simulations with macroscopic physicochemical experiments can enhance the understanding and effectiveness of demulsifiers. Specifically, it is suggested that amphiphilic hyperbranched polyethyleneimine (CHPEI) could act as an efficient demulsifier in oil-water systems, with its performance influenced by its adsorption behaviors at the oil-water interface and its ability to disrupt asphaltene-resin aggregates.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of cluster nursing intervention based on Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) for xerostomia in chronic rhinosinusitis after nasal endoscopic surgery.
Methods: A total of 80 patients with chronic rhinosinusitis who underwent functional nasal endoscopic surgery between January 2020 and December 2021 were selected and randomly divided into a control group (n = 40) and an experimental group (n = 40). Patients in the control group were treated with general nursing, while ERAS-based cluster nursing intervention was adopted for the experimental group, in addition to general nursing.
