Objectives: During the COVID-19 pandemic, global health systems faced unprecedented challenges, as well as in maternal and neonatal health, thus this study aims to clarify the impacts of COVID-19 on maternal and neonatal disorders (MNDs), regional variations, and the role of economic support.
Methods: We have developed a counterfactual model integrating Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average and Long Short-Term Memory models to forecast the burden of MNDs from 2020 To et al., 2021, which was compared with the actual burden to quantify the specific impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on MNDs.

This study aimed to identify sex disparities in in-hospital outcomes after PCI in patients with AMI and a history of CABG.
Methods: Using the National Inpatient Sample database, we identified patients hospitalized for AMI with a history of CABG who underwent PCI between 2016 and 2019.
Objective: To investigate the predictive value of a Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) for postoperative major adverse cardiovascular events(MACEs) in elderly patients undergoing major abdominal surgery and to develop a nomogram risk prediction model.
Methods: A total of 427 elderly patients aged ≥ 65 years who underwent major abdominal surgery at our hospital between June 2023 and March 2024 were selected for the study, and 416 patients were ultimately included. The preoperative SPPB score was measured, and the patients were divided into two groups: a high SPPB group (≥ 10) and a low SPPB group (< 10).

Objective: To detect the serum level of chemokine CXC motif chemokine 10 (CXCL-10) and Krebs von den lungen-6 (KL-6) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD), and to analyze their correlation with RA-ILD, as well as the significance in RA-ILD.
Methods: A total of 169 RA patients were enrolled in the study. According to imaging findings of with and without ILD in high-resolution computed tomography scans of chest, the subjects were divided into RA-ILD group and RA-non-ILD group.

Our study utilized stochastic optical-reconstruction microscopy (STORM) and single-molecule analysis to investigate the distribution of CD47 on the human erythrocyte membrane.
