Red-emitting materials have significantly advanced the development of materials for OLEDs and bioimaging. However, traditional red dyes often suffer from the 5 % external quantum efficiency (EQE) limit and aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ), which impede their practical applications. Herein, two red-emitting materials, TPA-QP and Cz-Ph-QP were designed and synthesized with donor-acceptor (D-A) structures.

Ginsenoside Rg1 (Rg1), a natural compound with well-defined antidepressant effects and low-cost administrations, holds therapeutic promise but requires mechanistic elucidation for clinical translation. Based on our previous finding that Rg1 rescued astrocytic connexin43 (Cx43) downregulation in depression models, we investigated its brain-wide effects and molecular mechanisms in chronic unpredictable stress (CUS)-induced rats.

Methods: This retrospective analysis included cancer patients treated with ICIs at Chongqing Medical University Second Affiliated Hospital from 2018 to 2024. Logistic regression and Cox regression analyses were used to identify predictors of all-grade and grade ≥ 3 irAEs and the time of irAE onset.
Here we present STModule, a Bayesian method developed to identify tissue modules from spatially resolved transcriptomics that reveal spatial components and essential characteristics of tissues. STModule uncovers diverse expression signals in transcriptomic landscapes such as cancer, intraepithelial neoplasia, immune infiltration, outcome-related molecular features and various cell types, which facilitate downstream analysis and provide insights into tumor microenvironments, disease mechanisms, treatment development, and histological organization of tissues. STModule captures a broader spectrum of biological signals compared to other methods and detects novel spatial components.

However, the molecular and cellular mechanisms involving GR-related genes that regulate drought tolerance in plants remain largely unclear. Here, we reveal that the gibberellin (GA) signalling repressor SLENDER RICE 1 (SLR1) negatively regulates the abundance of the dehydration-responsive protein OsBURP3 to enhance drought tolerance in rice.

Inflammasome-mediated inflammatory cytokines are crucial for host defense against bacterial infections. We found that infection activates the non-canonical inflammasome in macrophages, yet it inhibits the downstream activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome.

A better understanding of the precise mechanisms by which microbiota support GC could lead to improved therapeutic approaches. Here, we investigated the effect of intratumoral microbiota on the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) during GC malignant progression.

In PCDME-modified HSM adhesives, a multi-crosslinked network is built based on ring-opening reactions, disulfide bond rearrangement, electrostatic interactions, and hydrogen bonding between the active groups in PCDME resins and HSM proteins. This results in the HSM-based adhesive with significantly enhanced internal cohesion, thermal stability, moisture resistance and bonding strength.

However, the precise function and molecular mechanisms of mG tRNA modification in gastric cancer (GC) remain unclear. In this study, we evaluated the expression and function of methyltransferase-like 1 (METTL1) and WD repeat domain 4 (WDR4) in GC and elucidated the mechanisms underlying the role of METTL1/WDR4-mediated mG tRNA modifications in promoting GC progression.

This work demonstrates a new approach for determining volatile phenol (guaiacol) in wine via surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) and femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy (FSRS). The results showed that several marker bands become particularly enhanced, enabling the detection of guaiacol at lower concentrations than spontaneous Raman.

The objective of this research was to uncover the molecular causes of aging and identify the immunological microenvironmental alterations and immune cell infiltration in IVDD. IVDD gene datasets were obtained using GeneCards, and gene expression profiles were chosen from the Gene Expression Synthesis database (GSE244889).

However, their water resistance remains a significant limitation. In this study, a simple and efficient strategy based on a physicochemical dual cross-linking synergistic network was proposed to develop a new formaldehyde-free adhesive (IBMP-BT).

Methods: RNA-sequencing was conducted to identify the differentially expressed genes between GC tissues and adjacent normal tissues. CCK8, EdU, colony formation, transwell, flow cytometry and xenograft assays were adopted to explore the biological function of ZBTB10 and betulinic acid (BA) in GC progression.

Here we show that inhibiting OXPHOS similarly suppresses the proliferation and tumorigenicity of glycolytically competent colorectal cancer (CRC) cells in vitro and in patient-derived CRC xenografts. While the increased glycolytic activity rapidly replenished the ATP pool, it did not restore the reduced production of aspartate upon OXPHOS inhibition.
