Bio-based epoxy vitrimers are gaining attention as sustainable alternatives to traditional epoxies due to renewable starting materials and recyclability, enabling material circularity. Transesterification, a dynamic bond reaction mechanism in vitrimers, relies on ample hydroxy and esters groups in the polymer network to rearrange under moderate conditions. To reduce reliance on petroleum we investigated starch, a natural feedstock rich in hydroxy groups.

Metabolic syndrome (MetS) and short sleep are prevalent health concerns in the United States, yet the relationship between leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) and MetS among individuals with short sleep duration remains unclear. This cross-sectional study analyzed data from 8999 US adults aged 20 years and older in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Short sleep duration was defined as less than 7 hours per night, and MetS was diagnosed based on criteria from the American Endocrine Society and the American Society of Clinical Endocrinology.

However, due to the complex environmental factors and the long erosion of time, many bronze artifacts commonly face more severe rust issues, directly leading to fragility and even damage. Traditional rust removal methods often failed to effectively eliminate corrosion of fragile bronze artifacts and may cause irreversible damage, particularly for the delicate bronze artifacts with complicated surfaces.

Methods: Organized by Chinese Integrative Medicine & Traditional Chinese Medicine Academy, Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association, China, 29 experts from 18 Chinese provinces and 2 international experts, who specialize in gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, endocrinology, cardiovascular, psychology, reproductive genetics, nursing, acupuncture and tuina, traditional Chinese medicine, integrative medicine, and other disciplines, discussed and revised the recommendations one by one through in-person or online communication. Each recommendation was approved by ≥90% of the experts before it could be established.
This study aimed to investigate the prognostic factors associated with uterine spindle cell smooth muscle tumors of uncertain malignant potential (STUMPs) with mitotic figures ≥15/10 high-power fields (HPFs). A total of 20 patients between January of 2009 and December of 2020 at the Department of Pathology of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University were enrolled. Pathological features and immunohistochemical staining (including estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), Ki67, p53, and phosphorylated histone H3 (PHH3)) were assessed, and clinical follow-up data were collected.

This study aimed to elucidate the connection between MR and long-term clinical outcomes following AMI treated with PCI.
Methods: In this retrospective study 6940 patients who were diagnosed with AMI were consecutively enrolled from General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University (2014-2019).
Purpose: To investigate the differences in gut microbial characteristics between two traditional Chinese syndromes of premature ovarian insufficiency (POI).
Methods: Forty women with POI were recruited from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Shenzhen Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital between June and December 2020. Women with POI were divided into the kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome (SDBS) and and blood deficiency syndrome (QBDS) groups.
Objective: To investigate the potential mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) in alleviating premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and to provide a theoretical basis for EA treatment of POI.
Methods: For this purpose, a POI mice model was developed by injecting 12 mg/kg busulfan and 120 mg/kg cyclophosphamide intraperitoneally to induce POI. It was then proceeded by EA intervention at Guanyuan (CV4) acupoint on the second day following modeling.
Chlorophyll is crucial for pear tree growth and fruit quality. In order to integrate the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) multispectral vegetation indices and textural features to realize the estimation of the SPAD value of pear leaves, this study used the UAV multispectral remote sensing images and ground measurements to extract the vegetation indices and textural features, and analyze their correlation with the SPAD value of leaves during the fruit expansion period of the pear tree. Finally, four machine learning methods, namely XGBoost, random forest (RF), back-propagation neural network (BPNN), and optimized integration algorithm (OIA), were used to construct inversion models of the SPAD value of pear trees, with different feature inputs based on vegetation indices, textural features, and their combinations, respectively.

This study filled a crucial gap by integrating energy storage, multi-band electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, and structural design into bio-based materials. Specifically, conductive polymer layers were formed within the 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxide (TEMPO)-oxidized cellulose fiber skeleton, where a mild TEMPO-mediated oxidation system was applied to endow it with abundant macropores that could be utilized as active sites (specific surface area of 105.

This study aimed to identify the quality markers and elucidate the mechanisms of ATF in treating APS-RPL.
Methods: Chemical, network pharmacology, and in vitro verification were employed to identify quality markers and mechanisms of ATF.
Photocatalytic conversion has emerged as a promising strategy for harnessing renewable solar energy in the valorization of plastic waste. However, research on the photocatalytic transformation of plastics into valuable nitrogen-containing chemicals remains limited. In this study, we present a visible-light-driven pathway for the conversion of polylactic acid (PLA) into alanine under mild conditions.

To achieve carbon neutrality, promoting the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is essential, with projections indicating that 65% of emissions reductions in the aviation industry by 2050 will come from the use of SAF. Lignin, as an abundant renewable resource, has great potential for conversion into aviation fuel components.

In this study, we present an alternative route to make amines using iron nitride (FeN) as the nitrogen source. Without any additional catalyst, FeN reacts with a range of alcohols at 250 °C under 1 or 10 bar H to produce amines as major products.
