Treatment performance of different units in the anaerobic-anoxic-aerobic process of landfill leachate under antibiotic exposure.

The effectiveness of three different treatment units (anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic) in A/A/O reactors when treating landfill leachate that contained varying concentrations of tetracycline (TC) was evaluated. The effluent quality, sludge performance, and removal rates of COD, TN, TP, and NH-N of the reactors were investigated. The results showed that in the three treatment units (anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic), when the TC dosage was 10 mg/L, the removal rates of NH-N continued to decrease to 6.
