Key Clinical Message: This case report presents the interest of multidisciplinary management of extreme peri-implantitis requiring removal of implant emphasizing the different surgical and showing that the ovate pontic of conventional bridge is an optimal alternative for rehabilitation of the premolar sector, despite the fact that its main diffusion has been in the anterior sector due to the high demand aesthetic.
Abstract: Peri-implantitis leads to gradual peri-implant bone loss. Severe and extreme cases lead to complete implant failure and imply lost implants have to be removed.
Background: Mast cell-derived mediators induce vasodilatation and fluid extravasation, leading to cardiovascular failure in severe anaphylaxis. We previously revealed a synergistic interaction between the cytokine IL-4 and the mast cell-derived mediator histamine in modulating vascular endothelial (VE) dysfunction and severe anaphylaxis. The mechanism by which IL-4 exacerbates histamine-induced VE dysfunction and severe anaphylaxis is unknown.

Purpose: The aim of this work is to conduct a literature review to highlight all the parameters involved in sub-prosthetic radicular fractures of teeth supported by metallic dental core.
Materials And Methods: The following research was performed among published studies over the last 10 years in two PubMed/Medline and Scopus and supplemented by manual searching within the bibliographies. The search was restricted to publications in English and French.
An mpox outbreak was declared in July 2022 by the world health organization (WHO). It causes a mild self-limiting disease however; in immunosuppressed hosts, it tends to cause severe disseminated infection. Most cases of mpox in sold organ transplant (SOT) recipients reported in the literature were treated with tecovirimat.

Furthermore, pneumoperitoneum is almost always a concerning imaging finding and in the context of recent colonic resection may be a sign of anastomotic leakage.
Case Presentation: We describe a case of a young female patient with postpartum ACPO who subsequently underwent a hemicolectomy with colorectal anastomosis.

Background: Developmental meningoceles of the sphenoid sinus are uncommon. When encountered, they are often associated with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) rhinorrhea.
Observations: The authors present the case of a 27-year-old female with a large meningocele eroding through the sella turcica and sphenoid sinus into the nasopharynx.
Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptors (FGFRs) are a family of receptor tyrosine kinases expressed on a plethora of cell membranes. They play crucial roles in both embryonic development and adult tissue functions. There is an increasing amount of evidence that FGFR-mediated oncogenesis is mainly related to gene amplification, activating mutations, or translocation in tumors of various histological types.

There is limited evidence on the significance of donor multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria on transplant outcomes. Establishing the safety of allografts colonized with MDR bacteria has implications for widening an already limited donor pool.

Our goal was to establish a solid ground for building standardized and accredited curricula for simulation-based education in the specialty of anesthesia in the near future.
Methods: We searched the PubMed, CINAHL and EMBASE databases on May 10, 2021 for relevant articles.
Pseudoaneurysms of the middle meningeal artery are rare events following head trauma. Given the potential for significant morbidity and mortality associated with pseudoaneurysm rupture, it is recommended that they be treated early. Endovascular embolization is a viable alternative to open surgical intervention.

The current clinical pilot study measured the analgesic effectiveness of our new desktop VR system (with no VR helmet) in children under six during burn wound care (a within-subjects design with randomized treatment order). Between December 2021-April 2022, nine children with burn injuries (10 months to 5 years age, mean = 18 months) participated.

Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted on PubMed, Scopus, Science Direct, Web of Science, Cochrane, and LILACS up to November 2021, which was augmented by a manual search. The studies included were clinical trials (RCTs) and/or follow-up observational studies (retrospective and prospective).
Objective: Although the role of inflammation in the development of aneurysms is established, less is known about the development of intracranial aneurysms in the setting of underlying autoimmune disease. The underlying systemic inflammatory characteristics of disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjögren's syndrome may influence the development of intracranial aneurysms through common inflammatory pathways. The authors hypothesized that there is an association between underlying autoimmune disease and aneurysm growth and rupture.

Objectives: To investigate the isokinetic concentric shoulder muscle strength values (peak torque normalized to body weight) in recreational weightlifters (RWL) and to compare the shoulder muscles agonist/antagonist ratios with nonweightlifters.
Background: Tocilizumab was studied to reduce cytokine syndrome in patients with severe COVID-19 pneumonia in solid organ transplant (SOT) recipients with conflicting results. We aim to study the early use of tocilizumab in SOT with COVID-19 pneumonia on low flow oxygen.
Methods: This is a retrospective cohort study that was conducted in two transplant centers in Saudi Arabia among 46 SOT with COVID-19 comparing 21 patients who received tocilizumab to 25 patients who received standard of care.
Nephrotic syndrome (NS) affects 115-169 children per 100,000, with rates varying by ethnicity and location. Immune dysregulation, systemic circulating substances, or hereditary structural abnormalities of the podocyte are considered to have a role in the etiology of idiopathic NS. Following daily therapy with corticosteroids, more than 85% of children and adolescents (often aged 1 to 12 years) with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome have full proteinuria remission.

There has not been any publication about evaluation of surgical correction of spine tuberculosis in Indonesia, despite of high incidence of spine tuberculosis cases. Therefore, we evaluated the outcome of kyphotic angle correction and neurological status after surgery of spinal tuberculosis patients for better understanding.

Immunocompromised patients who have a severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection pose many clinical and public health challenges. We describe the case of a hematopoietic stem cell transplantation patient with lymphoma who had a protracted illness requiring three consecutive hospital admissions. Whole genome sequencing confirmed two different SARS-CoV-2 clades.
