Bochdalek hernia (BH) is a congenital diaphragmatic hernia which rarely presents in adulthood. We report on a 25-year-old man admitted with 3-year recurrent and self-limiting abdominal pain and vomiting. Chest radiograph showed left pleural opacity which shifted position in the decubitus film suggesting pleural effusion.

Patient interviews for demographics, clinical characteristics, vaccination status, reported side effects, and factors influencing decisions about vaccination were supplemented with structured questionnaires.

Robotic Assisted Upper Limb Training Post Stroke: A Randomized Control Trial Using Combinatory Approach Toward Reducing Workforce Demands.

Post stroke upper limb rehabilitation is a challenging problem with poor outcomes as 40% of survivors have functionally useless upper limbs. Robot-aided therapy (RAT) is a potential method to alleviate the effort of intensive, task-specific, repetitive upper limb exercises for both patients and therapists. The present study aims to investigate how a time matched combinatory training scheme that incorporates conventional and RAT, using H-Man, compares with conventional training toward reducing workforce demands.

In this study, we determined whether a novel acupuncture mode called electroacupuncture trigeminal nerve stimulation plus body acupuncture (EA/TNS + BA) could produce better outcomes than minimum acupuncture stimulation (MAS) as controls in treating chemobrain and other symptoms in breast cancer patients. Their proprioceptive abilities were assessed with a passive joint position matching test using H-Man and their motor functions were assessed with ARAT (Action Research Arm Test) and FMA (Fugl Meyer Upper Extremity Assessment) clinical scores.

To measure the level of burnout among pharmacy practice faculty members at US colleges and schools of pharmacy and to identify factors associated with burnout. Using a cross-sectional, electronic, anonymous survey-design, we measured faculty burnout (n=2318) at US colleges and schools of pharmacy using the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Educators Survey (MBI-ES), which measures burnout dimensions: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment. We assessed MBI-ES scores, demographics and possible predictors of burnout.

In this study, 13 weeks (October to December 2012) of ovitrap surveillance was conducted in two suburban residential areas in Kampar town, Perak. A total of 17,310 Aedes mosquitoes were found in Taman Kampar Jaya, whereas Taman Juloong recorded a higher number at 19,042. Less than 1% of these were identified as Aedes aegypti, with the remaining confirmed as Aedes albopictus.
