Stressors and coping strategies among secondary school male students in Abha City, Saudi Arabia.

Background: Stress is a biological process in which exposure to stressors is associated with bad health effects, decreased ability of disease management, and a higher likelihood for disease-related complications and comorbidities. Stress has been considered the main factor in the etiology of many diseases such as diabetes mellitus, cardiac diseases, and body aches for centuries. Students meet many stressful situations such as the need for success, academic demands, homesickness, and lack of social support.

Audit of diabetic care in family practice center in Abha City, Aseer region: CBAHI standards application.

Objective: The objectives of this study is to assess the quality of diabetic care at AlManhal PHCC based on CBAHI standards.

Methods: This audit was conducted during 2018 at Al_Manhal PHCC through assessment all aspects of DM care ( structures, processes and outcomes) using CBAHI standards . Data entry and analysis were managed used SPSS.

Incidence of hypoglycemia and its risk factors among diabetics during Ramadan in Abha city, Aseer Region, KSA.

Background And Aims: This study aims to explore the incidence of hypoglycemia and its risk factors among diabetic patients attending primary health care center during Ramadan Abha city, Aseer region, Saudi Arabia.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted among adult diabetic patients attending Primary health care centers (PHCCs) in Abha city, southwest of KSA. A questionnaire in Arabic language was used.

Hypertension care at primary health care centers: a report from Abha, Saudi Arabia.

It is well known that effective management of hypertension reduces the incidence of myo-cardial infarction, stroke and vascular complications. The Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, introduced the Quality Assurance Guidelines with the hope to improve the management of hypertension in its centers. We conducted an audit of two Primary Health Care Centers namely, Al-Manhal (MPHCC) and Al-Numais (NPHCC), to evaluate how well hypertension was managened at these centers.
