Background: Clinical high risk (CHR) youth are known to exhibit cognitive deficits at similar levels to their more severally ill counter parts. Cognitive training (CT) programs offer a promising method for early intervention and the prevention of further cognitive decline in this vulnerable population. However, there are few structured CT intervention programs addressing the needs of CHR youth in LMICs of the Middle East.

Purpose: The utility of fluorescence microscopy imaging comes with the challenge of low resolution acquisitions, which severely limits information extraction and quantitative analysis. Image denoising is a technique that aims to remove noise from microscopy acquisitions by taking into account prior statistics of the corrupting noise. In this work, we propose an image denoising technique for fluorescence microscopy imaging.

The present sero-epidemiological survey was designed and conducted to scrutinize the current status of camel-related brucellosis and chlamydiosis in Tunisia. Whole blood and serum samples were collected from 470 dromedaries (Camelus dromedarius) from eight different Tunisian governorates. Serum samples were subjected to indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (iELISA).

In July 2016, an outbreak of typhoid fever occurred in Ghannouche, located in the south of Tunisia. This paper reports the results of a field investigation undertaken to identify possible transmission pathways and risk factors in order to propose control and preventive measures.

NaMgS is extremely sensitive and partially decomposes in the presence of oxygen traces. With the use of an excess of MgS in the milling process, the molar ratio of the impurities was successfully decreased from 38% (NaS + MgO) to 13% MgO.

The polyanion phosphate, Na V (PO ) stands out as an excellent candidate due to its high nominal voltage, ambient air stability, and long cycle life. The caveat is that Na V (PO ) can only exhibit reversible capacities in the range of 100 mAh g , 20% below its theoretical capacity.

After human papilloma virus (HPV) and programmed death ligand 1 (PDL1) expression, Harvey rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (HRAS) appears as an emerging target in this field. In this review, we summarize the features of HRAS -mutated HNSCC and its targeting by farnesyl transferase inhibitors.

New approaches, other than antibiotics, are necessary to prevent NE development and the emergence of multidrug-resistant bacteria. Enterococci are commensal microorganisms that can produce enterocins, antimicrobial peptides with activities against pathogens, and could be excellent candidates for protective cultures.

A genome-assisted study of a heavy metal-tolerant PGPB Pantoea eucrina OB49 isolated from the rhizosphere of wheat grown on a heavy metal-contaminated site is presented. Comparative pan-genome analysis indicated that OB49 acquired heavy metal resistance genes through horizontal gene transfer.

An innovative task in a digital format named "The Tunisian Social Situations Instrument" (TSSI) was used and allowed us to study four different subdomains of ToM: attribution of intention and epistemic ToM (cognitive ToM), affective ToM, and detection of faux pas (advanced ToM). Our study showed impairments in ToM in children with ASD, similar to those reported in the literature.

Military, disaster management, rescue operations, public services, agriculture, and various other areas are examples. As a result, UAV path planning is concerned with determining the optimal path from the source to the destination while avoiding collisions with lowering the cost of time, energy, and other resources.

Nanobiotechnology can be used in food security for improving crop production; nanoparticles could enhance the growth and yield of different crop plants; therefore, this work aimed to improve a new nutrition formula of a hydroponic system using green biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles and aqueous extract. Results shown that AFM image of AgNP surface morphology provides good indicator for biosynthesizing AgNPs.

Having limited access to medical care combined with severe underreporting and a lack of active surveillance, Africa carries a high burden of neglected zoonotic diseases. Therefore, the epidemiological monitoring of pathogen circulation is essential.

The aim of this study was to analyze the structure of three lytic bacteriophages infecting (SD1, SD2, and SD3) using a gel-based proteomics approach and the cellular response of this bacterium to phage SD1 infection at the proteome level. The combination of the results of 1-DE and 2-DE followed by mass spectrometry led to the identification of 3, 14, and 9 structure proteins for SD1, SD2, and SD3 phages, respectively.
