UV absorbance measurements by different spectrophotometers did not lead to the large difference in in vitro SPF/UVA-PF, although the UV absorbance determined by each spectrophotometer exhibited relatively large difference when it was larger than 2. On the other hand, relatively large difference was found in in vitro SPF/UVA-PF by utilizing European Cosmetic and Perfumery Association (Colipa) 1994 or UV-solar simulated radiation (UV-SSR) for the spectral irradiance.

Hence, we induced hypoglycemia in pregnant Sprague-Dawley rats by injecting insulin from Days 6 to 11 of pregnancy and performed periodical histopathological examination of fetal eyes from embryonic days (E)10 to 20. DS-7309 was administered at 3, 10, or 100 mg/kg to rats from Days 7-17 of pregnancy or at 10, 30, or 100 mg/kg to rabbits from Days 6-18 of pregnancy. Methods: We characterized the effects of PA and EDCEP on normal human epidermal keratinocytes (NHEKs) exposed to DPE or HO as a general oxidative stress stimulator.

Although MEP responses with anterior-medially current direction (preferentially elicited I1-waves) were facilitated in all three muscles, those responses with posterior-laterally current direction (preferentially elicited I3-waves) were different among FDI, ADM, and APB muscles. That is, MEP responses in FDI and APB muscles were significantly reduced, whereas those responses in ADM muscle were not significantly reduced.
