Experiences of Nurse Educators Using Virtual Games in Nursing Education: A Qualitative Study.

Background: Virtual games developed for educational purposes have an important place in the education of nursing students.

Purpose: This study was designed to investigate the experiences of nurse educators regarding the use of virtual games in nursing education.

Methods: A descriptive qualitative design was used in this research, which was conducted between June and August 2022.

Relationship Between Spiritual Care Needs and Cognitive Intrusion of Pain in Patients with Advanced-Stage Cancer in Türkiye.

Pain is a common symptom experienced by patients with advanced-stage cancers. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between spiritual care needs and the cognitive intrusion of pain in patients with advanced-stage cancer. The data were collected through the patient information form, visual pain scale (VPS), spiritual care needs scale (SCNS), and cognitive intrusion of pain scale (CIPS).

The effect of using virtual reality goggles on psychological well-being and care burden of informal caregivers of patients hospitalized in a palliative care clinic.

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the effect of virtual reality goggles on the psychological well-being and care burden of informal caregivers of patients hospitalized in a palliative care clinic.

Methods: Pretest-posttest randomized controlled study. It was conducted from June-October 2023 with 44 informal caregivers (22 in the control, 22 in the intervention group).

Determination of Comfort Levels and Spiritual Care Needs of Gynecologic Cancer Patients with Abdominal Drains: A Cross-Sectional Descriptive Study in Turkey.

This study was conducted to determine the comfort levels and spiritual care needs of gynecologic cancer patients with abdominal drains. The study was conducted with 61 gynecologic cancer patients with abdominal drains at the gynecologic oncology surgery clinic of a state hospital in Turkey. Data were collected using the "Participant Information Form," "Perianesthesia Comfort Questionnaire (PCQ)", and "Spiritual Care Needs Inventory".

The effect of interactive learning method on nursing students' learning of movement requirement: A randomized controlled study.

Background: Interactive learning is one of the active learning methods used to develop students' knowledge and skills.

Objectives: This study was conducted to determine the effect of the interactive learning method with questions prepared according to Bloom's taxonomy on nursing students' learning of the need for movement.

Design: It is a randomized controlled study conducted in May 2023.

Determining the Spiritual Care Needs of Patients with Indwelling Urinary Catheterization: A Cross-Sectional Descriptive Study in Turkey.

This study was undertaken to ascertain the spiritual care requirements of patients undergoing indwelling urinary catheterization. Identifying the spiritual care needs of patients with indwelling urinary catheterization is crucial for fortifying their resilience and fostering positive health behaviors. Furthermore, it proves pivotal in devising customized nursing interventions.

Grief experiences of nurses who lose their first-degree relatives with the diagnosis of COVID-19: A qualitative study.

The grief experiences of healthcare professionals have both short- and long-term effects. This qualitative study was conducted between December 2022 and January 2023 to examine the grief experiences of nurses who lost their first-degree relatives to COVID-19. In this study, 22 nurses working in hospitals in Turkey were selected through a snowball sampling process.

Objectives: This research was conducted to investigate the effects of virtual gaming simulation on the nursing diagnosis, goal setting and diagnosis prioritization of first-year nursing students.

Design: Randomized controlled trial conducted between March and April 2022.

The impact of a web-based mind map learning technique on students' nursing knowledge of the nursing process.

Objective: This research aims to investigate the effects of web-based mind map learning techniques in the nursing process on students' ability to investigate the nursing diagnosis, descriptive characteristics, and the etiological and risk factors.

Design: In this experimental study, 91 nursing students enrolled in a state university in a city in Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year were included.

Methods: Data were collected using a test for determining the level of knowledge about the nursing diagnosis and the factors affecting the diagnosis, case sample, and care plan.

The perceptions of nursing students regarding coronavirus and occupation according to gender: A qualitative study.

Outbreaks are experienced differently based on gender. In the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, students' perceptions of the nursing profession, their feelings related to themselves, their social circle, nursing, and the appropriateness of nursing practices are important. This study aimed to determine the perceptions of nursing students of the Coronavirus and their occupation according to gender.

The effects of web based education and Kahoot usage in evaluation of the knowledge and skills regarding intramuscular injection among nursing students.

Background: Nursing is a discipline based on practice, which requires the integration of theory and implementation. Nurse educators should continuously review their curriculum and include "information technology" to help students obtain the required knowledge and skills.

Objectives: The present study aims to review the effects of Kahoot usage within the framework of web-based education evaluation regarding the intramuscular injection knowledge and skills of nursing students.
