The foam was instantly formed by interaction of polyols and diisocyanate. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, chitosan and sodium alginate were individually mixed with the main polyols, polypropylene glycol, in the formulation while the active components were impregnated into the obtained foam dressing sheets.
