Diabetes mellitus, a significant global public health challenge, severely impacts human health worldwide. The organoid, an innovative in vitro three-dimensional (3D) culture model, closely mimics tissues or organs in vivo. Insulin-secreting islet organoid, derived from stem cells induced in vitro with 3D structures, has emerged as a potential alternative for islet transplantation and as a possible disease model that mirrors the human body's in vivo environment, eliminating species difference.

Currently, existing therapeutic agents exhibit definite efficacy but also lead to serious adverse reactions. Therefore, it is essential to develop highly efficient therapeutic agents with minimal adverse reactions, especially within traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

Methods: OVCA samples were clustered into two subtypes using the Non-Negative Matrix Factorization (NMF) algorithm, including TCGA (n = 374) as the training set and GSE26712 (n = 185) as the external validation set. Hub genes, which were screened to construct a risk model, and nomogram to predict the overall survival of OVCA were explored and validated through various bioinformatic analysis and quantitative real-time PCR.
Despite advances in transdermal drug delivery for treating psoriasis, there are still unmet medical needs, hyaluronic acid (HA)-based topical formulations as nanocarriers, which can increase drug concentration in psoriatic skin through CD44-assisted targeting. Here, HA was utilized as a matrix for nanocrystal-based hydrogel (NC-gel) to deliver indirubin topically for psoriasis treatments. Indirubin nanocrystals (NCs) were prepared through wet media milling and were then mixed with HA to create indirubin NC/HA gels.

Calycosin-7-glucoside (CG) is an isoflavone component in Astragali Radix (AR), which has become a research focus for treating diabetic wounds following reports indicating that it has anti-inflammatory effects. However, the mechanism through which CG can treat diabetic wounds is yet to be deciphered.

Background: Rab11a is a novel identified tumorigenic factor involved in different cancers.
Objective: This study aimed to assess the biological function of Rab11a in ovarian cancer (OC).
Methods: GEPIA database and real-time PCR were used to determine Rab11a expression in OC tissues and normal ovarian tissues.
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy has revolutionized the therapeutic landscape of haematological malignancies. However, resistance and relapse remain prominent limitations, and they are related to the limited persistence and efficacy of CAR T cells, downregulation or loss of tumour antigens, intrinsic resistance of tumours to death signalling, and immune suppressive microenvironment. Rational combined modality treatments are regarded as a promising strategy to further unlock the antitumor potential of CAR T cell therapy, which can be applied before CAR T cell infusion as a conditioning regimen or in culture settings as well as concomitant with or after CAR T cell infusion.
