Background: Glucose fluctuations may be involved in the pathophysiological process of cardiomyocyte apoptosis, but the exact mechanism remains elusive. This study focused on exploring the mechanisms related to glucose fluctuation-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis.
Methods: Diabetic rats established via an injection of streptozotocin were randomized to five groups: the controlled diabetic (CD) group, the uncontrolled diabetic (UD) group, the glucose fluctuated diabetic (GFD) group, the GFD group rats with the injection of 0.
Background: No single risk factor is decisive in shaping an individual's healthy development. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between depressive symptoms and a cumulative risk index comprising individual, family, and social variables among nursing students.
Methods: We enrolled 1716 Chinese nursing students from three universities in a paperless survey that assessed a range of individual, family, and social risk factors associated with depressive symptoms.

Introduction: Based on social identity theory, by introducing organizational identification as mediating variable and identification orientation as moderating variable, this paper studies the influence mechanism and impacting boundary of workplace isolation on employee fatigue and turnover intention.
Methods: Based on logic relationship, seven basic hypotheses are put forward to construct the theoretical model of the problem. Based on the 300 effective questionnaires being obtained from employees in Mainland China, the empirical investigation adopts the three-phase lag time design.
Aim: To describe a protocol that examines the feasibility and effectiveness of a face-to-face guided self-disclosure intervention for facilitating benefit finding and other related psychological outcomes for breast cancer patients.
Background: Benefit finding can promote a positive attitude among patients facing disease. However, limited studies have focused on improving benefit finding among breast cancer patients.
In this study, a novel aptasensor based on Aptamer/NH Janus particles is developed for the detection of Ochratoxin A(OTA). By coating gold on the hemispherical surface of the aminated polystyrene particles, Ochratoxin A aptamer is immobilized on the surface of the gold layer for selective identification and the other hemispherical able to bind to Glassy carbon electrode via peptide bond. Under optimum conditions, the sensor exhibited a wide dynamic range of OTA concentration from 1 × 10 nM to 10 nM, and the detection limit is 3.

Methods: In a prospective study, 18 patients with TKA for the first time were included and randomly divided into three groups, group A (no placement of drainage tube), group B (negative pressure drainage), and group C (4 h clamping drainage). Intraoperative and postoperative blood loss, operation time, and the drainage volume were recorded and analyzed.
Purpose: Less work on depression status has been done with family members of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study investigated depression status of patients and their family members; and the relationship of the depression status between these two groups.
Methods: This cross-sectional study enrolled 194 patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer as well as their family members.
