Mechanism Study on the Regulation of Th1/Th2 in the Treatment of Idiopathic Membranous Nephropathy by Shengyang Yiwei Decoction.

Background: Shengyang Yiwei Decoction showed efficacy in idiopathic membranous nephropathy treatment, and this study aimed to assess the underlying molecular mechanisms.

Methods: Rats with passive Heymann nephritis were divided into the model group, the Shengyang Yiwei Decoction group, the JAK2 inhibitor group, and the STAT3 inhibitor group. Healthy rats served as the normal control.

Validation of the 2011 and 2016 American college of rheumatology diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia in a Chinese population.

Purpose: To provide a foundation for clinical diagnosis, epidemiological investigation and intervention trials, we examined the reliability and validity of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 2011 and 2016 survey diagnostic criteria among Chinese patients based on the fibromyalgia severity (FS) scale.

Methods: In this study, 200 fibromyalgia patients diagnosed according to the 1990 criteria (1990c) were matched with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients based on age and gender. The FS scale score and its subscales were examined to determine their correlations with the revised fibromyalgia impact questionnaire (FIQR).

A Chinese version of the revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire: A validation study.

Objective: The revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQR) was developed to measure the quality of life of patients with fibromyalgia in randomized controlled trials and routine care. The purpose of this study was to translate and adapt the FIQR from English to Chinese, and to examine the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of the FIQR (CFIQR).

Methods: Following the translation of the FIQR, fibromyalgia patients from 6 centers were recruited and completed the CFIQR, the validated Chinese version of the Medical Outcome Study Short Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36) and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI).

The effect of text message reminders on medication adherence among patients with coronary heart disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: To determine the effectiveness of text message reminders (TMR) on medication adherence (MA) and to investigate the effects of TMR on clinical outcomes.

Methods: The PubMed, Cochrane library, EMbase, and China Biology Medicine databases were searched for randomized-controlled trials with TMR as the intervention for patients with coronary heart disease. Two reviewers independently extracted data and assessed the risk of bias.

Ba-Duan-Jin alleviates pain and fibromyalgia-related symptoms in patients with fibromyalgia: results of a randomised controlled trial.

Objectives: Fibromyalgia is a chronic debilitating pain syndrome. There has been growing interest in the development of non-pharmacological therapies. Ba-Duan-Jin is an ancient Chinese exercise for health promotion, yet easy to learn.

Synthesis, crystal structure and fluorescence spectrum of a cadmium(II) sulfaquinoxaline complex.

catena-Poly[[[4-amino-N-(quinoxalin-2-yl)benzenesulfonamidato]aquacadmium(II)]-μ-4-amino-N-(quinoxalin-2-yl)benzenesulfonamidato], [Cd(C14H11N4O2S)2(H2O)], has been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, fluorescence, IR and thermal analysis. Single-crystal X-ray analysis reveals that the complex is a one-dimensional zigzag chain structure, and the Cd(II) cation has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry formed by five N atoms from three different sulfaquinoxaline ligands and one O atom from a water molecule. The fluorescence spectrum reveals that the complex emits strong blue fluorescence and thermal analysis shows that the complex has high thermal stability.

Electrochemical properties of a cobalt(II) complex with sulfadiazine and 1,3-bis(pyridin-4-yl)propane.

catena-Poly[[bis{4-[(pyrimidin-2-ylazanidyl)sulfonyl]aniline}cobalt(II)]-bis[μ-1,3-bis(pyridin-4-yl)propane]], [Co(C10H8N4O4S2)2(C13H14N2)]n or [Co(L)2(bpp)]n, crystallizes as a one-dimensional polymeric structure which is further stabilized by intermolecular hydrogen bonding. The refined Flack parameter, -0.001 (10), indicates that the model represents the correct absolute structure.
