The declining birth rate, population ageing and the outbound migration of young people in recent years have created obstacles for local companies in recruiting skilled personnel. Similar factors have also affected recruitment in the outlying island of Penghu, Taiwan. Multiple-attribute decision-making (MADM) techniques for evaluation model development were incorporated in the present research to investigate the key determinants of talent recruitment by the coffee house operators in the outlying island of Penghu.

Purpose: To describe the investigation and intervention of a cluster of Legionnaires' disease detected during the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Methods: From June 7 to 22, 2021, 15 cases in the neighborhood near our hospital were detected. Information about residence, workplace, hospital visit, and potential exposures was collected.

Driving a bus is a stressful job, and may result in aberrant behaviors or health problems. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of bus driver burnout on aberrant behaviors and health problems, as well as the role of self-criticism and confrontive and reappraisal coping as moderator variables in the hassle-burnout relationship. A self-administered questionnaire was designed to collect empirical data from bus drivers working at a Taiwanese motor transport company.
