The livestock sector is a major source of non-CO greenhouse gas (GHG). As China has the world's largest livestock production, analyzing factors influencing GHG emission intensity of livestock (GEIL) is crucial for guiding its emission reduction policies. Yet, most current studies on livestock GHG focus on emission amount (GEAL) over GEIL, neglecting comprehensive utilization of spatial econometric models.

This study established a rigorous model and a comprehensive physical property database of dry biorefining process on Aspen Plus platform for production including L-lactic acid, citric acid, sodium sugar acids, amino acid, and ethanol based on the experimental data. Full evaporation of wastewater (FEW) approach was proposed to completely replaced the external steam supply, and significantly reduced the freshwater input by 67% ∼ 85% and wastewater generation by 64% ∼ 89%, depending on the specific products.

Approximately half of idiopathic DCM cases are assigned to genetic causes in familial or apparently sporadic cases, and more than 50 genes are reported to cause DCM. However, genetic basis of most DCM patients still keeps unknown and require further study.

The rise of plant bacterial pathogens poses a significant threat to the yield and quality of essential food crops and cash crops globally. Our research introduced a versatile cationic AIE fluorescent probe for detecting and eliminating plant bacteria. With its unique aggregation-induced emission property, TBPD-6C can effectively detect plant bacteria by causing a fluorescence quenching effect and enables bacterial imaging under green fluorescence channels.

To minimize the side effects of chemotherapeutic drugs and prevent tumor recurrence, localized therapy is a more suitable treatment method. Here, a fully biodegradable silk fibroin (SF) membrane loaded with the therapeutic drug doxorubicin (Dox) is fabricated for potential localized chemotherapy of melanoma.

Herein, anchoring the Re carbonyl complex Re(CO)Cl in a benzotrithiophene-based COF has been synthesized for artificial photosynthetic CO reduction. The photocatalytic results demonstrate that BTT-bpy-COF-Re exhibits the highest CORR activity, achieving a rate of 110.

Inulin/TFA/SS nanoparticles were fabricated by inulin, trans-ferulic acid (TFA), and silk sericin (SS), and then loaded onto the surface of poly-l-lysine (PLL) and poly-glutamic acid (PGA)-coated Bifidobacterium longum (BL) to obtain BL@PLL-PGA-Inulin/TFA/SS NPs (BL@PP-NPs). This design simultaneously endowed the complex with excellent gastrointestinal resistance, antioxidant, and anti-inflammation abilities.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: The seeds of Hovenia acerba water extract (HAW) are used as an edible traditional Chinese medicine to treat diseases related to hyperuricemia (HUA).
Aim Of The Study: To evaluate HAW for its anti-HUA effect and to figure out their underlying mechanisms.
Materials And Methods: The anti-HUA effects were evaluated on a mouse model by testing HAW's effects on the levels of serum uric acid (SUA), the biochemical indicators of liver and kidney function, and the histology of liver and kidney.
China's electric power industry has made significant efforts to reduce environmental externality in the past two decades. However, the extent of the reduction, the driving factors behind it, and the regional performance are not well clarified. This study constructs a comprehensive framework that integrates the impact pathway approach with index decomposition analysis to explore the driving factors behind the reduction of environmental externality from a spatial-temporal perspective.

However, the widely used threshold method disregards the importance of temporal characteristics of the signal during continuous measurements, leading to information loss.

The interaction between the receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB ligand (RANKL) and its receptor RANK is known to regulate osteoclastogenesis in bone remodelling and has become an important therapeutic target for the treatment of osteoporosis. Stephanine (SA), an isoquinoline aporphine-type alkaloid isolated from Stephania plants, possesses excellent anti-inflammatory effects and can be used for rheumatoid arthritis treatment. However, its specific role in osteoclastogenesis and osteoporosis remains unknown.

Purpose: Elevated red blood cell distribution width (RDW) and decreased hematocrit (HCT) levels are associated with poor prognosis in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients, but their significance in intensive care unit (ICU) patients with acute exacerbation of COPD (AECOPD) remains uncertain. The RDW/HCT ratio may offer a more comprehensive assessment compared to individual markers, potentially enhancing prognostic accuracy. Furthermore, the utility of RDW/HCT in improving traditional ICU scoring systems remains unexplored.

Based on perceived value and social exchange theory, it analyzes how perceived benefits (including practical benefits, hedonic benefits, and social benefits) and perceived costs (including search costs, waiting costs, and adjustment costs) affect consumer satisfaction and their continuous participation intention in online pre-sales. A total of 527 valid questionnaires were collected, and structural equation modeling was used for data analysis.

The dimensions of phylogenetic research have expanded to encompass the study of large-scale populations at the microevolutionary level and comparisons between different species or taxonomic units at the macroevolutionary level. Traditional phylogenetic tools often struggle to handle the diverse and complex data required for these different evolutionary scales. In response to this challenge, we introduce PhyloForge, a robust tool designed to seamlessly integrate the demands of both micro- and macroevolution, comprehensively utilising diverse phylogenomic signals, such as genes, SNPs, and structural variations, as well as mitochondrial and chloroplast genomes.

To address this challenge, a bispecific nanobody-aptamer chimera is designed to target mutated EGFR and Met simultaneously to block their cross-talk in NSCLC. The EGFR-Met chimera is cost-effectively engineered using microbial transglutaminase and click chemistry strategies.

Palmitic acid-9-hydroxystearic acid (9-PAHSA) is a new class of bioactive anti-inflammatory lipids widely distributed in vegetables, fruits and medicinal plants, especially broccoli and apple. However, the pharmacological effects and underlying mechanisms of 9-PAHSA in protecting- against cardiac microvascular I/R injury have rarely been studied.
