Improving the quality of breast ultrasound images is of great significance for clinical diagnosis which can greatly boost the diagnostic accuracy of ultrasonography. However, due to the influence of ultrasound imaging principles and acquisition equipment, the collected ultrasound images naturally contain a large amount of speckle noise, which leads to a decrease in image quality and affects clinical diagnosis. To overcome this problem, we propose an improved denoising algorithm combining multi-filter DFrFT (Discrete Fractional Fourier Transform) and the adaptive fast BM3D (Block Matching and 3D collaborative filtering) method.

Objective: Epidemiologic studies have linked smoking to various malignancies, including bladder cancer, but its underlying biological functions remain elusive. Currently, we aimed to identify the smoking-related epigenetic modifications and disclose their impacts on prognosis and therapies in bladder cancer.
Methods: DNA methylation, transcriptome, and clinical profiles were acquired from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) using "TCGAbiolinks" Differential expression analyses were performed with "limma" and visualized by the "pheatmap" package.
Oncogene FLT3 internal tandem duplication (FLT3-ITD) mutation accounts for 30 % of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) cases and induces transformation. Previously, we found that E2F transcription factor 1 (E2F1) was involved in AML cell differentiation. Here, we reported that E2F1 expression was aberrantly upregulated in AML patients, especially in AML patients carrying FLT3-ITD.

Objective: To explore the clinical characteristics and genetic basis for a child featuring autosomal recessive cutis laxa (ARCL).
Methods: Clinical data of the patient was collected. Trio-whole exome sequencing (trio-WES) was carried out for the proband, his sister and parents.
Polygonati Rhizoma(PR), listed as a top-grade medicine, was recorded first in the Mingyi Bielu written by TAO Hongjing. It is a good medicine through the ages to tonify Qi and nourish Yin, strengthen spleen and kidney. PR has a long history of processing and has a variety of processing methods and technologies.

The aim of the study was to discuss the diagnostic value of gastric aspirate culture of early-onset sepsis in premature neonates. A retrospective study was conducted for 600 premature neonates of predisposing high-risk factors (gestation age from 28 to 35 weeks) hospitalized in neonatal unit of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. The culture of gastric aspirate was performed within 24 h after birth.

Methods: The present study enrolled patients with essential hypertension and American Society of Anesthesiologists class II or III who were scheduled to undergo abdominal surgery under general anesthesia. Patients were assigned to 1 of 6 groups according to ACE genotype, as detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism, as follows: DD; ID; II; and DD, ID, and II each with dexmedetomidine (Dex).
Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is one of the late complications of diabetes, which seriously affects the lives of patients. Baicalin (BA) is a flavone glycoside that has been identified to improve renal function in patients with DN. The present study aimed to investigate the roles and mechanisms of BA in DN.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of ticagrelor monotherapy versus ticagrelor plus aspirin in patients undergoing complex PCI from the randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled TWILIGHT (Ticagrelor with Aspirin or Alone in High-Risk Patients after Coronary Intervention) trial.
Methods: In the TWILIGHT trial, after 3 months of ticagrelor plus aspirin, event-free and adherent patients remained on ticagrelor and were randomly assigned to receive aspirin or placebo for 1 year.
Background: P2Y inhibitor monotherapy with ticagrelor after a brief period of dual antiplatelet therapy can reduce bleeding without increasing ischemic harm after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The impact of this approach among patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) remains unknown.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of ticagrelor monotherapy versus ticagrelor plus aspirin among patients with DM undergoing PCI.
This study aimed to compare the clinical efficacy of stenting compared with standardized medical treatment in patients with moderate to severe vertebral artery origin stenosis (VAOS).Patients diagnosed with moderate to severe VAOS and indicated to undergo vertebral artery stenting were enrolled. Patients were divided into stenting group and standardized medical treatment group.

We asked whether this kind of diet would have deleterious effects on wild-type brain function by evaluating KD-induced biochemical changes in the hippocampus as well as neurobehavioral changes occurring in wild-type rats. Fifty-four Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to three groups on postnatal day 28 (P28): wild-type rats fed with a KD qd (daily for 4 weeks, KD) or qod (every other day for 4 weeks, KOD), and wild-type rats fed with standard normal laboratory diet (ND).

Methods: Urine samples were collected from 8235 individuals (4216 men and 4019 women) from the healthy general population who had not been occupationally exposed to n-hexane or methyl-n-butyl ketone.
Purpose. To retrospectively study the effect of fish oil-based lipid emulsion and soybean oil-based lipid emulsion on cholestasis associated with long-term parenteral nutrition in premature infants. Methods.

Cysteine sulfinate decarboxylase (CSD) is the rate-limiting biosynthetic enzyme of taurine, but it is still controversial whether the male reproductive organs have the function to synthesize taurine through CSD pathway. The present study was thus undertaken to detect CSD expression in male mouse reproductive organs by RT-PCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry. The results show that CSD is expressed both at the mRNA and protein levels in the testis, epididymis and ductus deferens.
