Objective: To explore the optimal storage condition and time of umbilical cord blood from collection to preparation.
Methods: Collect cord blood samples from 30 healthy newborns, with each new born's umbilical cord blood was divided into two parts on average. One part was stored in cold storage (4 ℃) and the other was stored at room temperature (20-24 ℃).
Context: The safety and efficacy of nutritional management for pressure injuries (PIs) have been the subjects of ongoing interest. Some evidence demonstrated that nutrition is essential for skin and tissue viability, supporting tissue repair for healing the pressure injury.
Objective: This investigation aimed to systematically review clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for the nutritional management of PIs and furnish an evidence map to assess research trends and CPG gaps.

Venous leg ulcers (VLUs) are the most common venous disease, mainly presenting as open skin lesions on the legs or feet and are an important concern in clinical care settings. Comprehensive tactics were employed to search electronic databases PubMed, Embase, guideline databases, and society websites were searched for Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) on VLU care. The basic information, recommendations for the VLUs, methodological quality, and reporting quality of VLU's CPGs were extracted and captured in Excel.

Increasing evidence suggests the effectiveness of exercise intervention in treating cancer-related fatigue, but there is a lack of a summary of relevant literature on the same to help reach a clear consensus.
Objective: To summarize evidence regarding the efficacy of exercise interventions to reduce cancer fatigue, as determined in systematic reviews (SRs) and/or meta-analyses (MAs).
Background: Acute lung injury (ALI), a severe health-threatening disease, has a risk of causing chronic pulmonary fibrosis. Informative and powerful evidence suggests that inflammation and oxidative stress play a central role in the pathogenesis of ALI. Quercetin is well recognized for its excellent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which showed great potential for ALI treatment.

This prospective cohort study included 219ICU patients with nasogastric tube between September 2019 and January 2020.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to develop the nomogram model.

The aim of this study was to determine the level and factors of knowledge, attitude, and practice of nurses' ICUs on preventing medical MDRPI in western China. An annual cross-sectional study was conducted in hospitals of western China from May 2020 to September 2020.

The systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to examine the effectiveness and safety of MBCT for patients with chronic pain. Database searches of PubMed, Medline, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, PsycINFO, Web of Science, Scopus and CINAHL up to 15 October 2019.

Microglial activation has been implicated in the signaling cascades that contribute to neuronal cell death in various neurological disorders. In the present study, we found that SO2 derivatives decreased cell viability via inducing oxidative stress, inflammatory responses and apoptotic cell death in BV2 microglial cells.

Since the end of the Ming Dynasty, western medicine was introduced into China gradually. At first, due to the Chinese were used to traditional Chinese medicine treatment, plus the disgusted attitude toward the malfeasance of western missionaries, the Chinese didn't accept western medical approaches, even with resentment. As the advantages of western medicine gradually revealed, the Chinese felt the magical effects of western medicine in medical practice, and at the same time, the advanced intellectuals were seeking the truth to save the nation and its people, then western medicine were accepted by the Chinese gradually and then spread all over China, reflecting that this process of from conflict between Chinese and western culture to recognition is but, in fact, the cultural conflict between China and the West and its fusion.

Injections of PA or normal saline solution were given for 8 weeks and the rats observed for a further 8 weeks. In addition to arterial blood gas, lung function and lung pathology measurement during this time period, protein and mRNA expression of CTGF and BMP-7 were measured, and the correlation of expression of CTGF and BMP-7 with pathological changes in the lung was evaluated.

One possible way to increase the efficacy of anticancer drugs and to decrease toxicity or side effects is to develop traditional natural products, especially from medicinal plants. Paris polyphylla Smith has shown anti-tumour effects by inhibition of tumor promotion and inducement of tumor cell apoptosis, but mechanisms are still not well understood.

Loss of cell cycle control, leading to uncontrolled proliferation, is common in cancer. Therefore, the identification of potent and selective cyclin dependent kinase inhibitors is a priority for anti-cancer drug discovery.
