Background And Objectives: Indocyanine green (ICG) lymphography is the reference standard for evaluating lymphedema stage and identifying lymphatic vessels. However, the penetration depth was limited to 1-2 cm from the skin surface. This prospective study compares clinical outcomes following lymphaticovenous anastomoses (LVA) in patients with upper and lower limb lymphedema using contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) with ICG as a preoperative imaging modality.

Although several studies have been conducted on the topic of indications of early surgical correction, none have been performed using a set of measurable parameters.
Methods: The study quantitatively examined orbital fracture areas (OFA) and volumes (OFV) retrospectively of 242 patients with isolated medial orbital wall fractures that were treated conservatively during a 12-year period (from 2009 to 2021).
The fungi causing fruit rot were isolated from symptomatic Shengzhou nane ( var. taoxingli) fruit and were identified as by biological characteristics and molecular analysis of the internal transcribed spacer region (rDNA-ITS) and translation elongation factor-1α (TEF-1α) sequences. Optimal growth conditions for were 30°C, pH 5.

Metformin increased cellular FOXO3a, p-FOXO3a, AMPK, p-AMPK, and MnSOD levels in HDFs but not in HCT116 cells. Cellular ATP level was decreased only in HDFs by metformin.

No large, reliable cohort studies or meta-analyses of pIOWI for surgical incisional wounds were found in PubMed or Embase.
Methods: We searched the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Insight, Scopus, and Web of Science databases for primary research articles investigating the relevance of pIOWI with antibiotics for SSIs.
Rationale: Extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD) is a rare skin cancer that commonly occurs in sites rich in apocrine glands, such as perineum, vulva, axilla, scrotum, and penis. On the other hand, condyloma acuminatum (CA; also referred to as anogenital warts) is a common benign neoplasm caused by human papillomavirus. Few cases of coexistent EMPD and CA have been reported because of the rarity of the condition.

Methods: In all, 586 de novo mNPC patients who underwent F-FDG PET-CT prior to palliative chemotherapy (PCT) were involved. A Cox regression model was performed to identify prognostic factors for overall survival (OS).
An 88-year-old man presented with a left temporal pulsatile mass that developed after blunt trauma. Based on suspicion of hematoma, needle aspiration was performed with the removal of approximately 15 mL of blood. No evident improvement was noted, and active arterial bleeding was observed at the needle puncture site.

However, the epicanthal fold presents a conundrum that limits the cosmetic results of double eyelid surgery. Despite not being a pathologic condition, numerous procedures have been developed and introduced to address this issue, but these techniques have potential disadvantages that include an unnatural ciliary position of the lower lids and prominent scarring.

Arteriovenous fistulas (AVF) creation may involve in the pathogenesis of PH. The aim of this study was to explore the impact of PH after AVF creation on the AVF failure rate in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients.

The aim of this study was to analyze the clinical accuracy of F-FDG PET/CT in Burkitt lymphoma in end of therapy PET/CT (EOT-PET) to assess the treatment response in BL and conduct a survival analysis with different Deauville 5-point score (DS) cutoff values.
Materials And Methods: A total of 189 patients were retrospectively included: 97 underwent baseline PET/CT and all underwent EOT-PET.
No national epidemiological investigations have been conducted recently regarding facial lacerations. The study was performed using the data of 3,634,229 people during the 5-year period from 2014 to 2018 archived by the National Health Information Database (NHID) of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. Preschool and children under 10 years old accounted for about one-third of patients.

Some studies have suggested that the absolute value of the Pa pressure to the extracorporeal blood pump flow (Qb) ratio set on the machine (|Pa/Qb|) can reflect the dysfunction of VA. This study was conducted to explore the impact of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) dysfunction and to explore the clinical reference value of |Pa/Qb|.

Background: The columellar strut graft based on the use of back-to-back autogenous conchal cartilage is one of the most commonly employed invisible grafts used for nasal tip projection. This graft provides an effective means of achieving nasal tip projection but is limited by its flexibility, especially with respect to cephalic rotation. We designed an effective technique that addresses these limitations.

Background: No national epidemiological investigations have been conducted on several aspects of cleft lip and palate surgery.
Methods: The study was performed using the data of 5727 people who underwent cleft lip and palate surgery during the 6-year period from 2013 to 2018 archived by the National Health Information Database (NHID) of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service. Disease and operation codes were utilized for the analysis.

The ultrasonic dilution technique for blood flow surveillance can be performed during hemodialysis, but there are some limitations. Blood flow is traditionally measured by duplex Doppler ultrasound during the nondialysis period.

There is no consensus on the impact of |Pa/Qb| on arteriovenous fistula dysfunction.

Adventitious roots form only at the proximal cut surface (PCS) but not at the distal cut surface (DCS) of mango cotyledon segments. In this study, mango embryos treated with indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) showed significantly increased adventitious root formation, while those treated with 2, 3, 5-triiodobenzoic acid (TIBA) demonstrated complete inhibition of adventitious rooting. Mango embryos treated with auxin influx inhibitors demonstrated lower inhibition of adventitious roots than those treated with TIBA.

Awareness gradually leads to overprotection and a reduction in the use of the fistula arm. However, restricting motion in the fistula arm leads to decreased quality of life and diminished muscle strength.

Background: Enophthalmos is one of the most distressing complications of orbital fracture, and when faced with a blowout fracture, plastic surgeons often find it difficult to determine the need for surgical correction. Although a number of studies have been conducted on this topic, no study has yet been performed using a set of measurable parameters.
Methods: We quantitatively measured orbital fracture areas (OFA), volumes (OFV), and medial rectus muscle cross-sectional ratios in patients with an isolated medial orbital wall fracture defect during a 5-year period from 2014 to 2018.
Aberrant microRNA (miRNA or miR) expression has been reported to contribute to the pathogenesis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the involvement of specific miRNAs in HCC remains to be elucidated. The present study aimed to investigate the potential role of miR-200b and the mechanism underlying its function in hepatocarcinogenesis.
