Methods: Based on the data from the National Mortality Surveillance System in China, we estimated the number and age-standardized rate of mortality and YLLs due to stroke and its subtypes among young adults aged 15-49 years during 2005-2020, for both China and its 31 mainland provinces.

RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) modulate all aspects of RNA metabolism, but a comprehensive picture of RBP expression across tissues is lacking. Here, we describe our development of the method we call HARD-AP that robustly retrieves RBPs and tightly associated RNA regulatory complexes from cultured cells and fresh tissues. Here, we modeled cassette exon inclusion in primate brains as a quantitative trait and identified 1,170 (∼3%) exons with lineage-specific splicing shifts under stabilizing selection.
