Rarely we encountered massive intra-pulmonary hemorrhage in clinical practice, which is always considered a life-threatening condition. In this case report we will discuss its management with removing blood clots using a rigid bronchoscope. Moreover, we also discuss about innovation, using a flexible fibre-optic bronchoscope through the rigid bronchoscope and removing a huge blood clot from terminal bronchioles.

Purpose: To illustrate the successful management of advanced coats disease with exudative retinal detachment with posterior lens touch in a three year old young boy using subretinal drainage technique using an extrusion cannula.

Methods: Under general anesthesia, external drainage of subretinal fluid (SRF) was performed using an active extrusion cannula. Concurrent cryotherapy and endolaser treatment were administered, with cytological analysis of SRF to exclude retinoblastoma.

Crosslinking is a modification method that has been employed to address these shortcomings by introducing intra- and inter-molecular bonds to enhance the properties of starch. Sodium trimetaphosphate (STMP), citric acid (CA), and epichlorohydrin (ECH) are widely used crosslinking agents that enhance the thermal stability, mechanical properties, and resistance to enzymatic degradation of starches.
