The presence of donor-specific anti-human leukocyte antigen (HLA) antibodies (DSAs) against anti-HLA-A, -B, -C, and -DRB1 in HLA-mismatched hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is associated with graft failure. DSAs against HLA-A, -B, -C, and -DRB1 with a mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) of greater than > 1,000 was shown to increase the risk of graft failure in single-unit umbilical cord blood transplantation (UCBT). Nevertheless, the impact of DSAs against HLA-DP or -DQ on transplantation outcomes is not fully understood.

Aim: This study examined the collective characteristics of nurses and their stress coping style.

Methods: We conducted a cluster analysis of the stress coping strategies of 841 nurses belonging to Dokkyo Medical University Hospital, as measured by the Brief COPE (Coping Orientation to Problems Experienced). We also conducted multivariate analyses of each cluster's sociodemographic characteristics, personality traits, depressive symptoms, work attitudes, sense of fairness, and turnover intention.

This prospective phase I trial aimed to determine the recommended dose of 3-day total marrow and lymphoid irradiation (TMLI) for a myeloablative conditioning regimen by increasing the dose per fraction. The primary end-point of this single-institution dose escalation study was the recommended TMLI dose based on the frequency of dose-limiting toxicity (DLT) ≤100 days posthematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT); a 3 + 3 design was used to evaluate the safety of TMLI. Three dose levels of TMLI (14/16/18 Gy in six fractions over 3 days) were set.
