ER stress activates the unfolded protein response (UPR), a critical mechanism for maintaining cellular homeostasis in plants. The p24 protein family is known to be involved in protein trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and the Golgi apparatus, but its role in ER stress remains unclear in plants. In this study, we found that Atp24δ8(delta8), a member of the δ-2 subclass of the p24 family, is significantly upregulated in response to tunicamycin-induced ER stress.

We extracted data on 211 types of gut microbiota, 91 inflammatory factors, and uterine fibroids occurrence from genome-wide association studies and applied the inverse-variance weighted (IVW) method for analysis. To further assess the robustness of our MR analysis, we conducted sensitivity tests including Cochrane's Q test, the MR-Egger intercept test, the MR-PRESSO global test, and a leave-one-out analysis.

We have developed novel chiral F-labeled probes, each featuring two chiral centers, to exploit the "match-mismatch" effect, thereby enhancing enantiodiscrimination. This strategy effectively differentiates chiral analytes with quaternary chiral carbon centers as well as those with similar substituents at the chiral center.

The core technologies proposed in surgery have boosted the innovation transformation and disciplinary development. However, the core technologies in anesthesiology remain undefined both domestically and internationally. Through collaborative discussions among Chinese anesthesiologists, the core technologies of anesthesiology can be succinctly summarized as Relief of pain, Regulation of life, Resuscitation, and Restoration of organ function, and collectively referred to as the 4R technologies.
