Development of Quantitative Comparative Approaches to Support Complex Generic Drug Development.

On October 27-28, 2022, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Research on Complex Generics (CRCG) hosted a virtual public workshop titled "Best Practices for Utilizing Modeling Approaches to Support Generic Product Development." This report summarizes the presentations and panel discussions for a session titled "Development of Quantitative Comparative Approaches to Support Complex Generic Drug Development." This session featured speakers and panelists from both the generic industry and the FDA who described applications of advanced quantitative approaches for generic drug development and regulatory assessment within three main topics of interest: (1) API sameness assessment for complex generics, (2) particle size distribution assessment, and (3) dissolution profile similarity comparison.

The mother-daughter Shared Agency in Weight Management Scale (SAWMS): development, validation, and implications for body dissatisfaction.

Background: Much research suggests that mothers play an important role in shaping daughters' body image, yet less is known about how mother-daughter relationship dynamics in weight management affect daughters' body dissatisfaction. The current paper described the development and validation of the mother-daughter Shared Agency in Weight Management Scale (SAWMS) and examined its associations with daughter's body dissatisfaction.

Methods: In Study 1 (N = 676 college students), we explored the factor structure of the mother-daughter SAWMS and identified three processes (control, autonomy support, and collaboration) whereby mothers work with daughters in weight management.

COVID-19 anti-Asian racism: A tripartite model of collective psychosocial resilience.

Anti-Asian racism has spiked since the outbreak of the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, creating compounded threats to Asian Americans' psychological wellbeing on top of other pandemic stressors (e.g., fears of infection, financial insecurity, or quarantine isolation).

Training Public Sector Clinicians in Competency-Based Clinical Supervision: Methods, Curriculum, and Lessons Learned.

This article describes an initiative to train public sector clinicians in competency-based clinical supervision. It was delivered as an 18-session course taught online to clinicians employed in departments of behavioral health in nine Southern California counties. The curriculum was co-constructed by a team of clinical supervision scholars and leaders who then served as instructors.
