Unlabelled: Current technologies of plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) for modifying the surfaces of dental implants made of the Grade IV titan alloy provide predictable long-term results in implant dentistry. is to evaluate the efficacy of PEO technology comparing two types of surface modification of dental implants made of VT1-0 medical titanium alloy.
Materials And Methods: 50 IRIS dental implants (Scientific Production Company LICOSTOM, Russia), 10-mm long and 4 mm in diameter, were manufactured from the VT1-0 alloy.
In the past decade, DNA nanostructures have made the leap from small assemblies of a handful of oligonucleotides to megadalton objects assembled from hundreds or thousands of component DNA strands. Most DNA designs today are either lattice based with simple and reliable design tools or lattice free with a larger shape space but more challenging design and lower rigidity. In parallel with the development of DNA nanostructures, software packages for the simulation of nucleic acids have seen rapid development allowing for the simulation of the dynamics of full DNA nanostructure assemblies.

Interest in the mathematical modeling of the carbohydrate metabolism regulation system increases in recent years. This is associated with a "closed loop" insulin pump development (it controls an insulin infusion depending on the blood glucose level). To create an algorithm for the automatic control of insulin (and other hormones) infusion using an insulin pump it is necessary to accurately predict glycaemia level.

The current state of computational facilities allows extending of the general dynamic approach to the systems possessing two or more large-amplitude motions. This paper presents the first practical implementation of the theoretical method developed previously by the authors for solving the dynamic-structural problem with two or more large-amplitude coordinates; the procedure is applied to a molecule of 3-nitrostyrene.

A rigorous solution for the spectrum of a quasioptical cylindrical cavity resonator with a randomly rough side boundary has been obtained. To accomplish this task, we have developed a method for the separation of variables in a wave equation, which enables one, in principle, to rigorously examine any limiting case-from negligibly weak to arbitrarily strong disorder at the resonator boundary. It is shown that the effect of disorder-induced scattering can be properly described in terms of two geometric potentials, specifically, the "amplitude" and the "gradient" potentials, which appear in wave equations in the course of conformal smoothing of the resonator boundaries.
