This research explores the interactions of tripolyphosphate-chitosan-pea protein (TPP-CS-PP) in improving the stability and storage of 3D printing food inks. Chitosan (CS) and pea protein (PP) were complexed at various concentrations with 80 % palm olein to produce high internal phase Pickering emulsions (HIPPEs) 3D printing food inks. The resulting CSPP HIPPEs exhibited shear-thinning behaviour and the flexibility to switch between solid and liquid states, ideal for 3D printing.

Objectives: Managing older adults with multimorbidity may be challenging due to the conflicting benefits and harms of multiple treatments. Thus, it is important to identify patients' health outcome priorities to align treatment goals with their health preferences. This study aimed to use the Outcome Prioritisation Tool (OPT) to describe the health outcome priorities of older adults with multimorbidity and determine the factors associated with these priorities.

Introduction: Transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVRs) has become widespread throughout the world. To date, there are no echocardiographic studies of TAVR patients from Southeast Asia (SEA). We sought to evaluate (1) changes in echocardiographic and strain values pre- and post-TAVR (2) relationship between aortic stenosis (AS) severity and strain values, (3) left ventricle geometry in severe AS, (4) relationship of flow rate to dimensionless index (DVI) and acceleration time (AT), and (5) effect of strains on the outcome.

Article Synopsis
  • - The study investigated the prevalence and contributing factors of female sexual dysfunction among women aged 50 and older in a Malaysian outpatient clinic, using a self-administered questionnaire based on the Female Sexual Function Index.
  • - Out of 263 participants, 68.8% reported experiencing female sexual dysfunction, with the highest issues in sexual desire (85.2%) and satisfaction (74.9%), while factors such as Indian ethnicity and less frequent sexual intercourse were linked to higher dysfunction risks.
  • - The findings conclude that a significant portion of middle-aged women struggle with sexual dysfunction, highlighting the need for further research and interventions to address this issue.
