Deregulation mechanisms and therapeutic opportunities of p53-responsive microRNAs in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Here, we have discussed the molecular mechanisms of p53-responsive microRNAs dysregulation in response to genotoxic stress in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients. The role of micro ribonucleic acids (microRNAs) in p53-signaling cellular stress has been studied. MicroRNAs are the small non-coding RNAs, which regulate genes expression at post-transcriptional level.

AthRiboNC: an Arabidopsis database for ncRNAs with coding potential revealed from ribosome profiling.

Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are traditionally considered incapable of encoding proteins, but new evidence suggests that small open reading frames (sORFs) within ncRNAs can actually encode biologically functional small peptides. Despite growing recognition of their importance, a systematic exploration of plant ncRNAs with coding potential has remained largely uncharted territory, especially in the context of their translational activities. By collecting and analyzing Ribo-Seq data from 226 Arabidopsis thaliana samples, we have integrated extensive information on Arabidopsis ncRNAs with coding potential and developed the AthRiboNC database, a novel and dedicated database that consolidates extensive information on ncRNAs with coding potential in Arabidopsis.

Background: Breeding programs for nutrient-efficient tea plant varieties could be advanced by the combination of genotyping and phenotyping technologies. This study was aimed to search functional SNPs in key genes related to the nitrogen-assimilation in the collection of tea plant (L.) Kuntze.

Development of Serum Cell-Free miRNA Panel for Identification of Central Precocious Puberty and Premature Thelarche in Girls.

Precocious puberty of children, especially girls, has attracted more and more public attention in recent years. In clinic practice, there is a lack of both convenient and effective way to identify central precocious puberty (CPP) and premature thelarche (PT). In this study, we enrolled total 88 girls [28 cases of CPP, 37 cases of PT, as well as 23 cases of normal control (NC)] as a training cohort, and another 270 subjects (92 cases of CPP, 122 cases of PT and 56 cases of NC) as a validation cohort.
