Objective: To determine risk factors and to develop a risk prediction score for intrapartum cesarean delivery (CD) in women over 40 years old.
Study Design: A retrospective cohort study, in a single university-affiliated tertiary medical center. All women aged 40 years or more who planned a trial of labor between 2012 and 2022.
Objectives: A total of 95% to 99% of patients with invasive cervical cancer (CC) are infected with human papillomavirus (HPV). The aim of the study was to evaluate the incidence of low-risk HPV (LR-HPV) types among women with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN 2-3) and CC.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a nested cohort study of patients diagnosed with CIN 2-3 or CC.
A striking correlation between infrared photoinduced absorption spectra and the photoluminescence from silicon nanocrystals indicates that quantized electronic sublevels of the nanocrystals are resonantly coupled to surface vibrational modes via a polarization field produced by coherent longitudinal polar vibrations. Our experimental results and model support the assumption that the mechanism responsible for the efficient photoluminescence from silicon nanocrystals should be assigned to inhibition of nonradiative channels rather than enhancement of radiative channels.
