The authors report the case of a patient presenting with small bowel obstruction after a pelvic trauma with associated bladder injury. While urinary bladder and bowel injuries are frequent following this type of trauma, their association is rare. Small bowel obstruction secondary to trans-vesical incarceration of a small bowel loop at the fracture site is exceptional.

The main toxicity of Oxaliplatin, a major drug in the treatment of metastatic colorectal carcinoma, is neurologic. Severe sinusoidal lesions of the liver have been recently described in patients receiving pre-operative (neoadjuvant) oxaliplatin-containing chemotherapy, but their clinical relevance is unknown. Four patients with metastatic colon cancer receiving oxaliplatin, 5 fluorouracil and elvorin, developped a progressive increase in gammaglutamyl transpeptidase and alkaline phosphatase, contrasting with tumour regression established by CT-scan and decrease in serum carcinoembryonic antigen concentrations.

We report the case of an 11-year-old child with delayed development who developed signs of exercise-induced pain in the lower limb muscles after an acute attack of appendicitis. He had difficulty standing up from the sitting position and ascending and descending stairs. The physical examination revealed increased reflex activity in the lower limbs.

Aim Of The Study: The aim of this retrospective multicenter study was to evaluate the feasibility and the results of laparoscopic resection of benign submucosal gastric tumors.

Patients And Methods: We reviewed the cases of 65 patients (20 centers) who have been operated on laparoscopically for benign submucosal gastric tumors. The tumor was symptomatic in 56 cases, located on the posterior wall in 23 cases.
