This study aimed to establish a treatment planning strategy with carbon-ion scanning radiotherapy (CIRTs) for stage I esophageal cancer. The clinical data of seven patients treated with CIRTs were used. The setup error and interfractional and intrafractional motion error were analyzed using in-room computed tomography (CT) images for each treatment day.

Newly laid eggs of this species are ellipsoid and measure approximately 6.1 × 2.

When the heating temperature was more than 1173 K, the dominant phase obtained was rutile TiO(2), along with a small amount of TiNb(2)O(7). The relationship between the lattice parameters of the obtained rutile TiO(2) depended on the molar fraction of Nb/(Ti + Nb).

A cation channel from Tetrahymena cilia is permeable to both monovalent and divalent cations. A single-file two-site channel model was introduced for explaining the single channel currents of the channel in mixed solutions of K(+) and Ca(2+). In the model it was assumed that two potassium ions or one calcium ion can bind to the binding sites, and that the potassium ions between the binding sites are in a fast equilibrium condition.

There were five patients with high to middle cervical lesions (C2/3 or C3/4 level). Small P13-like potentials after P11 were identified for all patients with a noncephalic reference but not with an ear reference.
