The advancement of an effective hydrogen liberation technology from liquid organic hydrogen carriers, particularly cycloalkanes such as cyclohexane and methylcyclohexane, holds significance in realizing a hydrogen-centric society. However, the attainment of homogeneous catalytic acceptorless dehydrogenation characterized by elevated selectivity for thorough aromatization under mild conditions remains unrealized. In this study, a catalyst system, facilitated by a double hydrogen atom transfer processes, has been devised for the catalytic acceptorless dehydrogenation of inert cycloalkanes at ambient temperature under visible light irradiation.

However, intolerance as well as other issues have been reported for these drugs, making it difficult to sustain this treatment; accordingly, the persistence of 5-ASA is an important indicator of UC treatment strategy. We aimed to analyze the persistence of 5-ASA in patients with UC in Japan.

Methods: Subjects with IPF were randomised 1:2 to receive nintedanib 150 mg twice daily or placebo for 12 weeks, after which all patients received open-label nintedanib for 40 weeks.
Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) targeting programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) provide clinical benefits for various advanced malignancies. However, the predictive factors that determine sensitivity to ICIs have not been fully elucidated. We focused on tumor-derived CXCL10/11 as a pivotal factor that determines the response to PD-L1 blockade by regulating T cell accumulation and tumor angiogenesis.

We aimed to evaluate the outcomes of our algorithm-based decision-making approach based on image T-factors and intraoperative pathology of regional lymph node metastases and the bile duct stumps in patients undergoing gallbladder cancer resection.
Methods: A prospectively maintained database of patients who underwent gallbladder cancer resection between April 2001 and June 2022 was reviewed.
