Anaphylactoid reaction to carboplatin: successful "desensitization".

Carboplatin (CP) hypersensitivity reactions have been reported in nearly 12 % of patients treated with this drug. The pathophysiologic mechanisms of these reactions have not been entirely elucidated. Various hypotheses are under discussion.
