Organoids-on-a-chip exhibit significant potential for advancing disease modeling, drug screening, and precision medicine, largely due to their capacity to facilitate interactions among organoids. However, the influence of chip design on these interactions remains poorly understood, primarily due to our limited knowledge of the mediators of communication and the complexity of interaction dynamics. This study demonstrates that analyzing albumin secretion from liver organoids within an organoids-on-a-chip system can provide a measure of the interaction intensity among organoids, offering valuable insights into how chip design influences these interactions.

Real-world experiences with brentuximab vedotion-based regimens in systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma: a multi-center retrospective study.

Background: Brentuximab vedotin (BV) has demonstrated high remission rates in clinical trials for systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (sALCL), yet its real-world effectiveness in China remains unconfirmed. This retrospective observational study evaluates BV-based regimens in patients with sALCL, treated from 2020 to 2023.

Methods: A multi-center observational retrospective study was conducted on patients with sALCL received BV plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and prednisone (CHP) upfront or BV plus gemcitabine, oxaliplatin(GemOx), gemcitabine, cisplatin, dexamethasone(GDP), or isocyclophosphamide, carboplatin, etoposide (ICE)for later lines.

Nested case-control study investigating factors affecting initial adoption of HIV self-testing among men who have sex with men in Guangzhou, China: amidst comprehensive service coverage.

Background: China has been exploring HIV self-testing (HIVST) among men who have sex with men (MSM) since 2014. Currently, both non-profit and commercial initiatives HIVST services have achieved comprehensive coverage. Investigating the factors influencing the initial adoption of HIVST among MSM in this context can help develop tailored HIVST service strategies of and further promote HIVST adoption among MSM communities.
