Endohedral metallofullerenes (EMFs) have garnered significant attention for their distinctive properties and potential integration into cutting-edge photoelectric devices. This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent advancements in EMF synthesis, highlighting the novel "self-driven carbon atom implantation" approach that sheds new light on the underlying mechanisms of EMF formation. The discussion delves into pivotal challenges related to yield optimization and purification processes, addressing current limitations and the imperative need for scalable synthesis and improved stability.

While urban green spaces and meteorological conditions individually influence PM pollution, the mechanisms by which meteorological indicators mediate the relationship between green space patterns and PM concentrations remain unclear. We used daily PM concentration data in the Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area (ZMA) in 2021, combined with high-resolution satellite imagery and climate monitoring data.

Objective: To evaluate whether early mobilisation can reduce the incidence of delirium in critically ill patients and to assess the methodological quality of published studies.
Methods: Three electronic databases, PubMed, Embase and the Cochrane Library, were searched for relevant studies published up to 2 March 2024. Articles were screened independently by two reviewers, based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, and a meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.
To investigate the diagnostic performance of texture analysis using multi-parameter MRI in distinguishing between benign and malignant lesions with ovarian-adnexal magnetic resonance imaging report and data system (O-RADS MRI) score 4. A retrospective analysis was conducted of 57 lesions with an O-RADS MRI score of 4, of which 26 were benign and 31 were malignant. Based on the T2WI, ADC, and CE_T1WI, the textural features of the entire lesion were extracted.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAcute myeloid leukemia (AML) represents the most prevalent malignancy within the hematologic system, characterized by refractory relapses and a scarcity of effective treatment options. Karyopherin subunit beta-1 (KPNB1) is a member of karyopherin β family, mediating the nuclear import of its cargoes. In this study, we found that elevated expression levels of KPNB1 are associated with unfavorable outcomes in patients with AML.
