Orofacial migraine (OFM) and neurovascular orofacial pain (NVOP) are both recognized as migraine-related entities affecting the facial and orofacial regions, according to the International Classification of Orofacial Pain (ICOP). However, the distinction between these two conditions and the question of whether NVOP should be considered a separate entity remain subjects of ongoing debate. The aim of this study is to compare the diagnostic characteristics of OFM and NVOP to reassess whether they should continue to be classified as two distinct diagnoses.

Various topical drug combination assessed using a neurosensory stent for chronic intraoral neuropathic pain: a pilot study.

Pain to cold food ingestion following root canal therapy: where is the source?

Two cases of pain evoked by cold food ingestion, following root canal therapy, are presented. The source of pain was detected when cold application to the vestibular, periapical area corresponding to the teeth involved evoked strong pain of about 30-second durations. In the first case, the patient suffered from strong pain in the mandibular right area over the last 4 months.
