[Pharmacokinetics of praziquantel injection in healthy buffaloes].

To investigate the pharmacokinetics and relative bioavailability of praziquantel injection in buffaloes in contrast to praziquantel tablet. A single oral administration of praziquantel tablet at a dose of 20 mg/kg or intramuscular administration of praziquantel injection at a dose of 10 mg/kg was performed in six healthy adult buffalos according to a twoperiod crossover design. The praziquantel concentration in plasma was determined by a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method.

Characterization of a novel transcript variant of human STAU1 gene.

Human STAU1 is one member of the family of double-stranded RNA (dsRNA)-binding proteins. It is thought to function in transporting mRNA, controlling translation and eliciting mRNA decay in neurons, and to function in infection of influenza virus and human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1). Four transcripts coding two isoforms have been identified before.
