Background: The World Health Organization's fifth edition of tumor series classification was published in 2019 and adopted the term 'Neuroendocrine neoplasm (NEN)' to encompass all tumor classes with predominant neuroendocrine differentiation (NED). Based on the updated classification of the NEN, we conducted a case series using the Clinical Data Warehouse platform of SMC.
Methods: In this retrospective study, breast NENs and invasive breast carcinomas no special type (IBCNST) with NED, were defined as 'NENS'.
Introduction: Guideline-discordant low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) screening may cause lung cancer (LC) overdiagnosis, but its extent and consequences are unclear. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of self-initiated, non-reimbursed LDCT screening in a predominantly non-smoking population and its impact on LC epidemiology and healthcare utilization.
Methods: This nationwide cohort study analyzed data from Korea's National Health Information Database and 11 academic hospital screening centers (1999-2022).
Background: There is an urgent need to better understand the diverse presentations, risk factors, and outcomes of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-associated cardiovascular toxicity. There remains a lack of consensus surrounding cardiovascular screening, risk stratification, and clinical decision-making in patients receiving ICIs.
Methods: We conducted a single center retrospective cohort study including 2165 cancer patients treated with ICIs between 2013 and 2020.

This study aimed to explore the experience of family-centered care (FCC) for high-risk infants admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) among their parents and healthcare providers (HCPs) using the grounded theory methodology to understand the processes and interactions involved. By employing the grounded theory approach described by Corbin and Strauss, in-depth interviews were conducted with parents and HCPs experienced in NICU settings. Participants were selected via theoretical and snowball sampling, and data were managed and analyzed concurrently using MAXQDA software.
