[Oncology and psychiatry: Towards mutual connections/relationships].

Oncology has been proposed as a model of scientificity, in order to promote scientific approaches to psychiatry. In this article, another type of relation between oncology and psychiatry is explored, which promotes the idea of a mutually enriching dialogue and underlines the contributions of psychiatry to oncology. The ways in which both fields address epistemological and ethical issues in their respective approaches to disease is also examined.

Need for systematic screening for IGD in adolescent psychiatric inpatients.

Psychiatric comorbidities are frequent in adolescents with internet gaming disorder (IGD). In contrast, the proportion of IGD among adolescents hospitalized for a psychiatric disorder has not been documented yet. In addition, parental ratings of IGD could be useful for diagnosis, but very few data exist on this issue.

Managing difficult and violent adolescents ( adolescents difficiles) in France: a genealogical approach.

'Difficult adolescent' is a clinical category defined by psychiatrists' expertise. Since the end of the 1990s, it has been extensively used to describe a population of disruptive, violent yet vulnerable adolescents, at the margins of public institutions that manage youth deviancy in France. For the present study, an interconnected network of 49 documents was analysed using a genealogical method in order to provide comprehensive elements in the results.
