Introduction: Pleurisy tuberculoma (PTM) is a neoplastic lesion that primarily affects the pleural wall or internal organs. The majority of PTM cases are observed during the treatment of tuberculous pleural effusion(TPE), and although the precise pathogenesis remains unclear, there is a significant association between these two conditions. To identify high-risk factors for the development of PTM, we developed a clinical predictive model aimed at providing more insightful information for the development of PTM.

Under excessive mechanical loads, the entheses may sustain inflammation, leading to isolated enthesitis. However, the specific mechanisms through which enthesitis occurs have not yet been fully elucidated.

The present study investigated the impact of drying temperature (40-80 °C) on the physical properties and molecular assembly process of konjac glucomannan/ethyl cellulose/zein blend films through the casting method. Microstructural observations indicated that the drying temperature impacted the particle aggregation in the films, and at the drying temperature of 60 °C, a most even component distribution was suggested with the strongest hydrogen bond interaction according to the FTIR and micro-FTIR analysis.

The mechanisms underlying this effect remain elusive. Here, in vivo genome-wide CRISPR screening identifies SFRP2 as a potential stromal regulator of the abscopal effect.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020, China's strict prevention measures have curbed pathogen transmission, altering infection-related epidemiology. The Futang Research Center of Pediatric Development has collected the face sheet of discharge medical records (FSMRs) data from 27 tertiary children's hospitals since January 2016, which facilitate us to investigate this issue.
