Fire blight caused by reached Kazakhstan in 2008. Here, the disease poses a threat not only to agricultural production of apples and pears, but also to the forests of wild , the progenitor of most domesticated apple varieties worldwide. In the period 2019-2021, the spread of fire blight in the growth area of wild apples was limited by the weather conditions.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFIn 2020, there were numerous cases in Kazakhstan with clinical symptoms of COVID-19 but negative PCR results in nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs. The diagnosis was confirmed clinically and by CT scans (computed tomography). The problem with such negative PCR results for SARS-CoV-2 infection confirmation still exists and indicates the need to confirm the diagnosis in the bronchoalveolar lavage in such cases.

Objective: To assess risk factors (RF) and severity grade of Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) in children with hematological diseases.
Material And Methods: We analyzed cases of PRES in children during chemotherapy (CT) and after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). We estimated the following RF: arterial hypertension, steroid therapy, CT, immunosuppressive therapy (IST), infection and renal injury.
