Problem: Early adolescence (10-14 years) is a critical period in which peer victimization (PV) is common. In protecting, maintaining, and improving the health of adolescents, it is important to detect PV and evaluate its relationship with the level of hope and self-concept. This study aimed to determine the PV situation of adolescents living in rural areas and establish the effect of the level of hope and self-concept on this situation.

This study aimed to assess the association between PBA and various mood disturbances, as well as the impact on quality of life in PD patients.
Methods: Sixty-eight patients with PD were enrolled in this study.
Background Objectives: This study was compared the Borrelia antibodies and chemokine ligand 13 (CXCL13) levels in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples from cases diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS), radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS), and pseudotumour cerebri (PTC).
Methods: A total of 43 CSF samples were collected from patients diagnosed with RRMS, RIS and PTC. We prospectively investigated Borrelia IgG and IgM antibodies in the CSF samples of the cases by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and Western blot (WB) method, and CXCL13 levels by ELISA.
Introduction: Artificial intelligence (AI) based chat robots are increasingly used by users for patient education about common diseases in the health field, as in every field. This study aims to evaluate and compare patient education materials on rhinosinusitis created by two frequently used chat robots, ChatGPT-4 and Google Gemini.
Method: One hundred nine questions taken from patient information websites were divided into 4 different categories: general knowledge, diagnosis, treatment, surgery and complications, then asked to chat robots.
Introduction: In solid-organ transplant (SOT) recipients, while survival rates have improved with immunosuppressive therapies, the risk of opportunistic infections has also increased. This study aimed to evaluate the frequency of pneumonia, identify microbiological factors, investigate diagnostic methods, and analyse prognosis.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to identify adult SOT recipients referred to the pulmonary diseases department with a preliminary pneumonia diagnosis between 2011 and 2019.
Pregnancy is an inherently delicate process characterized by physiological and psychological changes, even in the absence of any health complications. This study compares the levels of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and guilt in women diagnosed with high-risk pregnancies to those in a control group consisting of women with healthy pregnancies. A total of 172 women participated in the study, 108 of whom had high-risk pregnancies, and 64 had healthy pregnancies.

Initially, aqueous GSH solutions were subjected to ultrasound at varying amplitudes (60 % and 80 %) for up to 30 min using probes of different diameters (13 mm and 19 mm) to identify maximal oxidation conditions. FR formation was monitored using UPLC equipped with diode array detector and fluorescence spectrophotometer for GSH and TPA oxidation, respectively.

As urination is also under the control of the ANS, this study aimed to investigate the usefulness of HRV in the assessment of ANS during the peri-urination period. The psychological effects of sitting on a chair or on the toilet during pre- and post-urination periods were also assessed.

Data from 18 bias-corrected CMIP6 global climate models (GCMs) were used, covering four Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs)-SSP126, SSP245, SSP370, and SSP585-across three future timeframes: near-term (2015-2044), mid-term (2045-2074), and long-term (2075-2100). Under the high-emission SSP585 scenario, average temperatures are projected to rise by up to 3.

This guideline was prepared by the Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine to define the conditions and requirements for an outsourced preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) programme in line with the experience and needs of practitioners. This guideline is intended to be a reference document for assisted reproductive technology centres, genetic diagnosis centres, non-governmental organizations working on reproductive health, legal experts, consultants working on laboratory accreditation, academicians specializing in ethical issues, and policy makers. The Consortium aims to provide recommendations addressing the challenges of genetic testing, especially PGT for monogenic diseases (PGT-M) due to the high rate of consanguineous marriage in Turkey.
