Objectives: Little was known regarding the current age of onset patterns of stroke. This study aimed to examine the prevalence of stroke and explore the age of onset patterns of stroke in Jiangsu Province, China.
Materials And Methods: Participants were recruited from April 2012 to April 2013 in Jiangsu Province, China.
Background: Depression of pregnant women has been a growing concern in recent years, and previous research has found that family relationships are strongly associated with depression. From a network perspective, family relationships and depression can be conceptualized as the result of interactions between individual symptoms. This research approach can elucidate the structure and mechanisms of the relationship between individual symptoms within the two groups.

Design: Participants were enrolled by a stratified random cluster sampling method in the study. After collecting dietary data using a quantified FFQ, latent class analysis was used to identify dietary patterns, and propensity score matching was used to reduce confounding effects between different dietary patterns.
Objective: This study aimed to examine the prevalence of stroke and associated factors of stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes(T2DM) in China.
Methods: Participants were 18,013 T2DM patients recruited with stratified random cluster sampling method from December 2013 to January 2014 in China. Propensity score matching was used to eliminate confounding effects between groups and logistic regression analysis was used to examine factors associated with stroke among T2DM patients.
Cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury is a leading cause of learning and memory dysfunction. Hydrogen sulfide (HS) has been shown to confer neuroprotection in various neurodegenerative diseases, including cerebral I/R-induced hippocampal CA1 injury. However, the underlying mechanisms have not been completely understood.

Design: Cross-sectional study.
Previous studies have demonstrated that lycopene possesses anti-inflammatory properties in the central nervous system. However, the potential role and the molecular mechanisms of lycopene in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-challenge inflammation and depression-like behaviors has not been clearly investigated. The present study aimed to assess the effects and the potential mechanisms of lycopene on LPS-induced depression-like behaviors.

Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the neuroprotective mechanisms of BP against ischemic brain injury induced by cerebral I/R through inhibition of the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)-Caspase3 signaling pathway. BP in distilled non-genetically modified Soybean oil was administered intragastrically three times a day at a dosage of 15 mg/(kg day) beginning at 20 min after I/R in Sprague-Dawley rats.

Mangiferin, a natural glucoxilxanthone, is known to possess various biological activities. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of mangiferin on LPS-induced cognitive deficits and explore the underlying mechanisms.

Transient global brain ischemia was induced by 4-vessel occlusion in adult male Sprague-Dawley rats. The rats were pretreated with sevoflurane alone or sevoflurane combined with LY294002/wortmannin (selective inhibitor of PI3K) before ischemia.

To introduce a method of classification with high precision--the artificial neural network (ANN), and to compare the results using logistic regression method. Using data from 1070 landless peasants' mental health survey, the artificial neural network models and logistic regression model were built and compared on their advantages and disadvantages of the two models. The prediction accuracy for artificial neural network was 94.
