Background: Meningioma in the ventricle triangle area is a benign tumor that can be cured by surgery, but postoperative entrapped temporal horn may seriously affect the patient's quality of life and even require a second operation. Currently, there are few reports on this complication.

The purpose of our study was to identify the clinical features, radiologic characteristics, and treatment of a series of such tumors.
Methods: Thirteen patients with CEs from our hospital were included in this study.

Methods: A total of 303 patients with refractory epilepsy after epilepsy surgery were included. The Kaplan-Meier method with log-rank test and univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards model were performed to calculate the comparison of survival curves between groups and identify the risk factors associated with seizure recurrence in different periods after surgery.
