[Intrathyroid thymic carcinoma: report of a case].

Intrathyroid thymic carcinoma(ITTC) is a rare thyroid tumor that lacks typical clinical manifestations and imaging features, making preoperative diagnosis challenging.The primary treatment for ITTC is radical surgery; however, the effectiveness of adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy post-surgery is not well-established. This paper presents a case of ITTC , analyzing the clinical data and correlating it with the literature to explore the clinical manifestations, diagnostic approach, treatment, and prognosis of ITTC.

Cardiac remodeling is an end-stage manifestation of multiple cardiovascular diseases, and microRNAs are involved in a variety of posttranscriptional regulatory processes. miR-363-5p targeting Thrombospondin3 (THBS3) has been shown to play an important regulatory role in vascular endothelial cells, but the roles of these two in cardiac remodeling are unknown. Firstly, we established an in vivo model of cardiac remodeling by transverse aortic narrow (TAC), and then we stimulated a human cardiomyocyte cell line (AC16) and a human cardiac fibroblast cell line (HCF) using 1 μmol/L angiotensin II (Ang II) to establish an in vitro model of cardiac hypertrophy and an in vitro model of myocardial fibrosis, respectively.

With the focus on the insufficient origin-based cold storage in China, this study investigates the location and routing problem (LRP) of origin-based cold storage for fresh agricultural products. This study considers the loss of fresh agricultural products in different environments during transportation and presents a cold storage LRP model. To address this issue, a hybrid whale algorithm with heuristic rules is designed, and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified by standard instances.

Breast cancer remains one of the primary causes of cancer-related death. An imbalance of oestrogen homeostasis and an inflammatory tumor microenvironment (TME) are vital risk factors for the progression and metastasis of breast cancer. Here, we showed that oestrogen homeostasis was disrupted both in breast cancer patients and in a transgenic MMTV-PyMT mouse model of breast cancer, and significant levels of hydroxylated oestrogen accumulated in the mammary tissues of these patients and mice.
