Human sweat comprises various electrolytes that are health status indicators. Conventional potentiometric electrolyte sensors require an electrical power source, which is expensive, bulky, and requires a complex architecture. Herein, this work demonstrates an electric nanogenerator fabricated using silicon nanowire (SiNW) arrays comprising modified carbon nanoparticles.

A novel polyoxometalate (POM)-based metal-organic framework, TBA[PMoMoO(OH)Zn(L)] (), was in situ synthesized and applied into CO photoreduction. The selection of porous material containing a reductive POM cluster is considered to be helpful for CO reduction; meanwhile, a hydrophobic-group-modified organic ligand enables to exhibit good chemical stability and restrains hydrogen generation to some extent. In the photocatalytic CO reduction, the yield of HCOO reached 35.
