Article Synopsis
  • Scientists created a special mixture called SOR-CUR-SMEDDS that combines two medicines, curcumin and sorafenib, to fight cancer better.
  • They tested it in the lab and found that it worked really well, releasing a lot of the medicines over time and helping them reach cancer cells more effectively.
  • The mixture helped the body absorb these medicines much better than when they were taken separately, which could lead to improved treatment for cancer patients.

Both the BDNF gene rs6265 and the FKBP5 gene rs1360780 polymorphisms are independently associated with adult psychotic-like experiences, when exposed to high childhood abuse; however, it remains unclear whether the relationship between childhood abuse and burnout is moderated by these two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Furthermore, there is an interaction between glucocorticoid receptor transcriptional activity and BDNF signaling. Therefore, we investigated the interaction of these two SNPs with childhood trauma in predicting burnout.

Water-rock interaction mechanism and water purification capacity of broken coal and rock masses are very important for the efficient operation of the underground reservoir. In this paper, a water purification simulation device for an underground mine reservoir was designed. The experimental study on the dynamic interaction between broken coal and rock masses and mine water was carried out.

Context: The adsorptions of toxic gases SO and HS on 2D α/β/γ-FeB monolayer were investigated using density functional theory calculations. To analyze the interaction between gas molecule HS/SO and α/β/γ-FeB monolayer, we calculated adsorption energy, adsorption distance, Mullikan charge, charge density difference, band structure, the density of states, work function, and theoretical recovery time. The adsorption energies show that HS/SO is chemisorbed on α/β-FeB while HS/SO is physiosorbed on γ-FeB monolayer.

Fifteen rhodamine B hydrazide hydrazone (RhBHH) derivatives (compounds -) with various substituent groups at different position and their photochromic property triggered by Cu were studied to illustrate the structure photochromic response relationship (SPRR). Three of them (compounds -) with a -position hydroxyl group and two -position halogen substituents display Cu-triggered photochromic which is significantly different from the previous reports. It was found that halogen atoms, which were generally considered to have no remarkable regulation effect, exhibited great influences on the photochromic behaviour of RhBHH derivatives.
