Silicosis is a prevalent occupational disease marked by progressive pulmonary fibrosis. Despite its significant health burden, the pathogenesis of silicosis remains unclear, and no specific therapeutic drugs are available. In this study, we developed a novel intervention strategy targeting gut microbiota and investigated its underlying mechanisms.

Antiproliferative activities of the synthesized compounds were tested against colorectal cancer cell lines (including RKO, SW480, and CT26). Compound showed excellent activities against the tested cell lines with IC values of 5.

In this project we aimed to assess processes of silicosis in rats exposed to RCS with focus on the regulation of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs).
Results: The results showed that RCS induced acute inflammatory response as indicated by the appearance of inflammatory cells in the lung from the first day and peaked on day 7 of exposure.
Chlorpyrifos (CPF) is an organophosphate insecticide commonly used to treat fruit and vegetable crops. CPF can cause severe adverse effects on body organs including the liver and central nervous system. This study investigated the CPF-induced inflammation in mice and explored the role of intestinal flora changes in liver inflammation.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-depressant effect of curcumin through nasal delivery. The results of phase solubility, Fourier transform infrared spectra, Differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray powder diffractometry and H NMR spectra assays showed that curcumin/hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin complex had been obtained.

In traditional clinical application, Coptidis Rhizome and Evodiae Fructus have been combined to treat various stomach heat and cold syndromes, gastritis, gastric ulcer and the like. With the application of modem instruments and the development of molecular pharmacologic theory, their chemical constituents and pharmacological effects have been sufficiently studied. In this paper, literatures from Pubmed were adopted, with particular emphasis on findings of international counterparts and studies on compatibility of main chemical components in Coptidis Rhizoma and Evodiae Fructus, in order to elaborate on the scientific comparability of Coptidis Rhizoma and Evodiae Fructus through chemical analysis, and pharmacological and biopharmaceutics studies and introduce the future development trend of the studies.
